We rented the Saturn camper, and it was a wonderful experience. The library and store were enlightening and the staff was friendly and helpful even after hours. Talked late into the night with intelligent and friendly folks we had just met. Absolutely worth the cost. I will be returning, probably often.

My guy and I drove down from the Springs to get away for a night before our baby comes. And we had a great time! We went during a heavy snow storm which I don’t really recommend unless your car can make it which ours did but we committed to that date and I’m so glad we did because the snow just made it feel so dreamy and cozy. The campsite was lovely, the “Mars” RV was just what we needed for the two of us and our doggo. We took a short drive over to “Desert Reef Hot springs” and I think that was just the best addition to the stay. We went right when the sun was going down and the snow was still falling and there wasn’t really anyone there so we had one of the pools all to ourselves. So fun! We ended the night getting food in the little town nearby as well. The ranch was so accommodating we went and borrowed games and hung out in the library for a bit. It’s such a beautiful space. I look forward to going down again for more of their events they host there and I’m glad we live so close. 10/10 highly recommend checking it out!

This is a great RV spot! Brand new with an amazing Staff. Barb and Mike are awesome people, very welcoming. It’s different than any RV place we have been. It’s Space Themed and the clubhouse has a lot of learning opportunities. If you have younger kids and want them to be busy all the time…….stay Here!

Randy Ross' review is frivolous. There are no homeless people on this site, and it's very safe. This place wasn't even open yet when Randy posted his review.

Observer Ranch is an awesome camping location! There are plenty of spaces for camper parking, and there's lots of space for future amenities such as cabins and tent sites. I'm looking forward to staying here for a weekend.

Absolutely amazing! I rolled in with my camper for my daughter and I's first trip together in the camper. My tire was very love and Eddie not only assisted in teaching us to set up but also got my low tire filled with air. Not only can you learn and camp and see all the beautiful stars BUT it's so close to Co Spgs that a quick getaway can happen at any time! Definitely will be back!

This isn't just a campground... it's an epic experience! We loved our stay at Observer Ranch. The campground is spacious and easily fit our 42 foot big rig. Beautiful, brand new facilities, gorgeous view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains in the distance, and stunning sunrise and sunsets. The staff was tremendous in welcoming us and and our children. There was SO much for the kids to do! From astronaut dress up, to pretend play equipment, games, books, and more... they could play, explore, and learn about space for hours.

The gift shop is intentional supporting local small businesses, and full of fun rocket and space items. We can't wait to attend an event here! This place is perfect for full-time RV families with lots to do nearby. We'll be back!

Wow I was so impressed with the learning center building go wish I was a kid again!
I would compare it to the Ruben H. Space Fleet Center in San Diego. Too much? You tell me, but to find this gem in the middle of Fremont County, CO... Just wow, unexpected.
Mike and Barb, the ranch hosts, are super friendly and knowledgeable with a ton of life wisdom and experience. I am definitely staying in touch.
Can't wait for my next visit.

We drove from Texas and had a family reunion at this beautiful location. We all brought our dogs along and they had a great time too! The campers were very cozy and accommodating, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed exploring the area and seeing everything they have built here. We attended the birthday party of one of the founders and had a blast. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and would definitely come back. Thank you Observer Ranch!
