Steer clear this place. It has a very toxic company culture with not an happy employee in sight, accompanied by what was clearly “customs” that are discriminatory and prejudice in nature. I observed 3 separate different protocols and requirements for walk in first time donors all in a coordinated effort to turn away walk ins despite it being the first hour they are open. They me kept there till almost the end of the onboarding process to tell me I smelled like marijuana and I can’t donate today…which is funny because I do not smoke marijuana…my roommates do but that has nothing to do with me. I requested a major who was rude and who enters the conversation with patient with a preconceived notion that all patients must be homeless or something a description that she fills to a T in all honesty and I haven’t gone a day in my adult life with out a shower. The good news is is the recording (I legally took) I got does have sufficient legal grounds To meet the threshold required to litigate in federal court And they caught me at a time where I got nothing but time to file law suits so they’re legal team will be receiving an email. Steer clear. If you have had experience similar reach out a class-action could materialize. I meet with my business partner 22 year awarded attorney next Monday for other litigation I’m currently engaged in. Steer clear! It’s worth noting I had witnessed several violations at their other facility as well which reminds me I will be filing complaints with the department of heath over this.

My first visit. The staff was pleasant and very helpful, and answered all my questions. The place itself was immaculately clean. The staff was also very detailed and knowledgeable in their job functions. Love this place. update my previous comment remains the same. BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS understaffed. And it takes about 3-4 hours to go thru the whole process. NO BUENO!! They only have one girl checking people in with BP, checking iron etc, and it’s always the same girl who takes forever and a day! Bio life has full staff both up front and in the back. And NEVER takes this long to get thru the process get in a chair donate and leave. SHAMEFUL

I got there at 9 am and there were 4 people in line, I was processesed and in the donation chair by 9:20. I was greated by several people by name as this was my 13th donation. Liz did the stick in my left arm and it was perfect. All the “phlebotomist” there were working quickly and professionally and monitoring everyone as they walked by. I was out by 10:20. Its a great way to give back to the community and to earn some extra spending money all while relaxing and playing on my phone. See you Friday for number 14

I have been coming to this place on and off for the last couple of years. The pay was better before but at least I am helping others which is another form of payment in my heart but it’s really discouraging when I see people like Danisha treat myself and others rudely and slow. I have had to wait in line just to be checked in for almost an hour But because of people like Dalia, Mia, Erika, Linda and Keith always greet me with a smile and are gentle with the prick.

I’ve been donating for 14 months and I love watching people grow! I have seen this center struggle at times, but they have seemed to outgrow it.
Getting new staff has helped and Lafaye and Liz are wonderful additions. Today, they were understaffed with only 2 phlebs. I moved from screening coming through efficiently with screeners warm and courteous going out of the way for new donors.
Shocked coming to the floor with a dozen donors waiting to get plugged in. Shannon and Erica were pressed but still wore smiles. The manager Lauren was aware, reassuring help was minutes away. Then she brought 3 front workers, swooping in and seamlessly getting everyone seated and plugged in quickly doing so with a great attitude. I enjoy coming here and consider the workers my friends.
They all deserve a raise!

Everyone at this center is pretty nice and good at what they do , I do have what is called a rolling vein I guess that is hard to get other than one person who seems to get it every time. I've had two employees blow my vein which was not good . Today I was told by a manager I guess in front of a room full of people that I have too many zeros and if it happens again I will be asked not to come back .. it was embarrassing and I literally couldn't get out of there fast enough thank you for making me feel like a criminal or something.. won't be back ever ..
