I don't know if any of the pictures or reviews posted for off-grid are real, but i can share my experience and it hasn't been good. I hired Off Grid RV to install a minisplit and solar for my RV. The specification was that I wanted the minisplit to keep up with the Lake Havasu heat during the summer and have enough solar so that I wouldn't have to pay for shore power. Jean decided to install an 18000 btu minisplit that was less btu than the two overhead units that were installed at the time. I questioned him, but was assured it would be more than enough. I later realized his rationale was based solely on square footage and did not take into account the Havasu weather or the fact that the RV was poorly insulated. We had to replace the minisplit with a larger unit (haven't been refunded for either unit). Jean attempted to install the new unit and decided to quit half way through the installation indicating he wasnt capable of installing. I then had to call an ac specialist out to redo all of his work because he had mangled the line sets and didnt have the proper breakers etc.. The mount he built to hold the AC was rusting within a week and poorly constructed. After discussing with Jean, it was decided to hire a fabricator to build something. Now that we had to install a larger unit, i will have to hire someone to reinforce the mount because the new minisplit is larger and heavier. As far as the solar installation goes, I've been stranded without power twice in Glamis due to his programming and installation. He did make trips out to get it running, but ruined both trips. I've had two different solar companies look at the wiring and suggest I dont use the solar until it is rewired as it is a fire hazard. Basically, everything has to be ripped out and start over at great cost. None of the Victron equipment is grounded per their recommendations, none of the equipment is fused, batteries aren't strapped and secured which can lead to wire fray and shorts when driving down the road. This has been an absolute nightmare and Off-Grid RV is not making it right. I will add more after the new solar company goes through the entire system for safety and performance as well as comparing it to all the parts that i was invoiced for to see if it matches up. On top of it all, the Solar wasn't able to keep up with the original minisplit and definitely won't keep up with the new one!

It has been 1 year since Jean installed an inverter, 3 batteries, Solar controller, additional solar panel and Cerbo Gx for our 21' Jayco Feather Micro. I know...Most people leave reviews when the service is complete, and the install was definitely great, fast and at a very fair price. But this is my review of using the system for one year. We've boondock camped a ton since our install and I can truly say we have never had any issues that weren't user error. I've only had to text Jean twice in this past year with a question and he responded quickly and always fixed my issue. We will definitely go back to Off Grid RV for our future needs and recommend this company to anyone looking to enhance their boondock camping experience. Thanks again Jean for great service and quick responses when I've needed it...

Jean is a true professional. He designed a 24 volt system for our class A rv so we could run both a/c units simultaneously. In addition he installed a 12 volt 100 watt battery to run all our 110 appliances. He took the time to thoroughly explain how the system worked and showed us how to use it once in the installation was complete. He provided us his direct contact number for 24/7 support during our travels. It's clear Jean takes a great deal of pride in his work and reputation. I highly recommend his services.

We are very pleased with Jean!!! From the get-go, he is extremely professional and patient with us in helping us understand the system, cost and pros-cons of different options. He and his workers were always on time during installations. They did a fantastic job. Now, I have 1600W solar, with two powerful inverters! It's been over one year now, and it's working just as it should be. Jean continues his trade-mark good service after the installation. One time, we had issue on the road, and called him. He was right there, directed me what to do to get the system back to work. I am now considering upgrade the A/C system and adding more solar panels. Jean is a life saver! My husband and I bought a van and quickly realized we were going to have to change everything including the electric system. Our van came with two small panels and a portable charger. That was not going to work at all, so we removed the system and purchased a complete package thinking we could install it ourselves. We watched a ton of videos, read everything we could and even though my husband is very handy and knows basic electrical, we realized we were completely in over our heads. By chance we found Jean Delgado’s contact information. He responded quickly, came out and took a look. He asked us about our needs for the system and gave us a few recommendations based on what we had purchased. Based on the batteries, inverter, and charger that we had he recommended we add a panel. I am so glad we did! He also gave us a recommendation for shore power, as we will need connections for multiple countries. Jean gave us an appointment for a few weeks out (time for us to order our panel) and was able to complete all the work that day. He has been available for any questions we have after the installation. Everything is working Perfectly!!! I cannot recommend Jean enough.
