While diving at Blue Heron Bridge/ Singer Island on July 19,2023, we had the pleasure of meeting and learning about sea turtle conservation in Florida/ Palm beach area from COLETTE McENTEE and TEAL KAWANA regarding their recent SEA TURTLE rescue and REHABILITATION of a young title… They were extremely polite, knowledgeable, and very willing to speak with us about their wonderful stewardship and work with these beautiful creatures. My students and I truly appreciate that these two KNOWLEDGEABLE women of MARINE SCIENCE took time from their day to speak with us and educate us! A GREAT EXPERIENCE that they both provided!0

I had a wonderful experience this week while enjoying the diverse program activities presented as part of the PBCounty Natural Areas Festival. It was delightful to explore it in so many different ways and by the expert hand of the staff that guided us thru our various visits. In short, it is both a great gift to us all, present and future generations, and a blessing to enjoy such very diverse preserved natural spaces and all thanks to the hard work and conservation efforts by this department and the citizens/organizations that volunteer and support it.
