Thank you Peace River for restoring our power in a short amount of time after Hurricane Milton. We really appreciate it! When I saw all your trucks in and around our neighborhood, I just wanted to stop and thank everyone of them for their hard work. I don't understand all the negative reviews. I have also called the local office on a couple of occasions and only received friendly and courteous service. A recent move to a new home went without a hitch. I have had automatic payments withdrawn monthly for over 20 years by Peace River, and there has never been a problem. Pay your bills on time people, and make sure everything is set up correctly, then you 'll never have any problems!

I've lived here for 5 years and have nothing to save a great things about this power company. They are quick to respond great communicators and always do their best to restore power as quickly as possible. For a lot of folks it's a dangerous job and they risk their lives to get power restored to us. More folks ought to be grateful and leave great reviews because I'm sure this is a very hard job, thankless at best, and we should be praising them for the hard work they do! Thank you Peace River!

Honestly, i am perplexed by all the negative reviews here. I've been a Lakewood Ranch resident and PRECO customer for almost 3 years and never had an issue with them. Our power stayed on during Ian and we lost power during Milton but it was restored after ~24 hours. I pay around 12 cents for kWa, which is on-par with other companies here in FL. Average bill is $150 during hot summer months and around $80 during cooler seasons for our 4bd ranch home built in 2021. I have no idea why there's so many complaints here but it seems most are billing related. I have autopay setup with them so i never even have to think about it. Major kudos to the PRECO team for the amazing work during all the latest storms and hurricanes!

we got flooded by debbie and had to move out in a rush. just called peace river since i noticed i hadn't paid my bill in august. they said it was past due by 2 weeks and they were going to cut off our service tomorrow. we had to move out so don't remember seeing any notice of this. been with them for 14+ years and never an issue. what a joke this is without any notice. we had someone on oxygen living with us so that would have been a big problem if we had to still be there. really looking out for their customers.

Thank you PRECO and lineman for getting us restored within 48 hours of a major hurricane. And we had electricity for far longer into the storm than most people I know who had FPL. You all are so appreciated! Words are not large enough for how grateful we are for the endless hours and efforts! 💖

We had a hurricane on WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 8th, IT’S NOW SUNDAY OCTOBER 13th and we still don’t have electricity. They have told us ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We lost all of our food.
As an ONLY parent to a child with special food needs, this has been a nightmare, especially on top of everything else we’ve been through. They should at least tell us when it will come back on and answer our questions. Someone in my community said that they found out, it could be several more days!
Peace River PLEASE TURN BACK ON OUR ELECTRIC!!!!! Everyone around us with FLP has already been back on for several days!!!! Peace River please HELP SURVIVORS OF HURRICANE MILTON.
