Love this company! Greg is very informative (he knows his stuff) and helped us understand the number of panels we needed for our home. From start to finish every team member was professional, friendly, listened to our concerns or questions and the entire process of placing Solar on our home went as expected. Highly recommend!!!

Recently it seems that I was getting bombarded by the number of calls related to signing up for solar. Many of them seemed rather gimmicky so lately have been skeptical to meet with them in person. I decided to contact Sunpower by PGT Solar after the first company we met with did not seem very professional. We were able to easily meet with the rep who was extremely professional, personable and knowledgeable about solar via Zoom all within the comfort of our house. The rep was able to tell us with a very informative presentation what separated their solar panels from the others. Clearly what was evident was they have been around quite a long time and have improved upon some of the difficulties of other solar panels. Not once did I ever feel pressured to make a decision on purchasing the panels. After a few days following the presentation, I was sold nonetheless and have now started the process of getting things started to eventually have the solar panels installed. So far so good!!

From start to finish we had no unexpected issues arise. The sales presentation by Greg at PGT Solar Solutions was informative and not like a high pressure sales pitch from others in the industry. The install crew was quick and efficient. You can only get that when you have great TEAMWORK, and PGT solar has that, and more. Our Project Coordinator, Jacquelyn kept us informed of the progression of the install, and customer service answered the few questions I had and completely resolved the issue. All in All, I wouldn't recommend any other solar installer in the Phoenix metro area other than PGT Solar Solutions!

Greg Fields was very professional - thorough in his relationship with us. His Zoom presentation was impressive as was his responsiveness to our followup questions. The rest of the process with SunPower was seamless and timely. Now we will sit back and wait to see how reliable the much touted equipment is and how it performs.

The customer service wasn't excellent at first. It was really just to the point, which is fine. Maybe they thought I was wasting their time but after i spent more time with them they really opened up and were much nicer to work with. I went with them because they had the best value and equipment after extensive research. They only sell their products which is fine too, they're top notch, and they've been around for 25 years. They also had a nice incentive too. I'd recommend them to anyone interested in solar.

Oh, were to start. The beginning I guess. The salesman, although knowledgeable about what he's selling and initially polite, there seems to be a fall off on the quality of service follow-up after the papers are signed. Also be extremely cautious of offers. We were told that after financing our package, we would have no payments for 15 months, to allow us to file our taxes and use to tax credit money to pay down the loan. Nope, two months after the panel install is complete your 1st payment is due.
The major problem was the half truths, such as when they send you the "panel design" on your roof and have you review it and sign off on the panel design and placement. So you do. Then 2 months later they show up and want to install a couple of meter boxes on the front of your house, four feet up the wall. And then say, well you approved it. Then when you look at the panel layout plan again. They draw your attention to the two black dots on the plans on the front of your house, although there is no explanation as to what they represent, you are now informed that that's the boxes. When you ask why can't they just go to the side of the house, they inform you that because you have APS for your electric provider, and they require 24/7/365 access to the meter and it can't be behind the gate. So if your gate is within 4ft of the front of your home, you guessed it you either have 2 nice meter boxes mounted onto the front of your house or you're paying upwards of $600-$1200 to move it back 4-5 ft. (if your HOA allows it). If you are fortunate enough to have SRP, this doesn't apply, as they don't have this rule. The kicker is that the company who sold you the system doesn't care, why? Because...you've already signed the contract.
Lastly, it's only fair to be honest, although I'm not overly happy with how somethings went down after the sale. The lady who does the scheduling for the work to be done was excellent. The young man who came to the house for the install work was top notch. If he had just "done his job", I would be the unhappy owner of those 2 metal boxes on the front of my house. So, thank you again for letting me know before you just started drilling. If the company was as good as these two people, it would be in better hands.

Sun Power has been a truly amazing company to deal with from the initial contact person, Greg Field, and continuing with the installation crew (extremely respectful and hard working despite the 114 degree temperatures--they even stacked. up the removed roof tiles for me, in case I needed roof work in the future) and finally, the supervisor who came out to complete the connect with aps. My system was installed within 30 days from signing the lease agreement--and the wait for aps to approve the system and get it online was absolutely in spite of Sun Power's efforts to get the system producing.
My highest regard for both Greg Field and a supervisor named Joey who could not have been better representatives of professionalism in response and results.
Sun Power deserves the highest recommendation if anyone is considering solar power.

And how are you going to make me remove my comment? Isn’t freedom of speech part of 1st amendment? Going solar was the worst decision as solar companies are going bankrupt so make me remove my comment
Just frustrated we get the run around and salespeople that sell you something that is good but end up with headaches at the end So no I will not take down my post
