I had a fantastic experience with Photon Brothers. They installed a solar system with a backup battery, and I couldn’t be happier with the process. This was my third solar install but my first with Photon Brothers — I only wish I had used them for the previous two. The other local company I worked with was a nightmare by comparison. Everyone I interacted with, from Ryan (the Sales Consultant) to the installers to Andrew (the Project Manager), was professional, responsive, and patient with my many questions before, during, and after the installation. Photon Brothers will definitely be my first choice for any future solar work.

I contacted Photon Brothers to investigate adding battery back up to my existing Solar system that had been installed about 12 years ago and also installing a charging station in the event I purchase on electric vehicle in the future.
From my first phone inquiry to the install of my system, I was impressed with the entire team at Photon Brothers. Every member is knowledgeable, customer service oriented. My options were explained in an easy to understand manner and I was provided a detailed written proposal.
We have a bigger system than normal so the install took three days total but our power was only down for a short while on the third day. The installers were very professional, kept us informed each step of the install and were very respectful of our home and kept a clean work environment throughout the install.
The system was up and running immediately and has been running smoothly each day. We now have complete complete solar power during the day and battery power at night with an extra battery reserve for cloudier days.
I couldn’t be happier with Photon Brothers and would highly recommend them for your solar, battery back up and EV car charging needs.

I recently (April 2024) had Photon Brothers install solar panels and a Testla battery at my home. Photon Brothers are an excellent company with great customer service and a highly trained planning and installation crew. Our Solar Consultant Cameron and Project Manager Andrew provided me with great information without pressure, and answered all of my questions so I knew what to expect every step of the way. Their prices were highly competitive. Their planning crew paid close attention to details that others might have missed. Their installation crew was really great also, triple checking that everything was done correctly. I couldn't be happier with the results. It looks great and I'm looking forward to having PG&E come out and make the final inspection and connection. I did this on Earth Day - a great gesture for the environment and for the savings on our utility bills.

Won’t honor refund contract.
Our experience with photon brothers has been epically horrible. Our construction was delayed over 1 year with negligent communication. We found out our inverter was bad and was only producing half of what it should. They said they would replace it (and did) and that they would refund the tru up bill. We owed over $1000. I have contacted them inn december and they said they would do an investigation. Since then they have done NOTHING. no communication no calls no emails I have reached out over 8x and been ghosted.

Added 2 PowerWalls to my system. Photon Brothers provided excellent, thorough and professional service, from bid to installation. The installers had to correct work done in the past and the results were on par with commercial installations I have been involved in.

As a senior citizen i wanted to be able to talk to someone when i have questions and they are always helpful. If you are contemplating solar go local go with Photon Brothers yhey wont disappoint

These guys even completed our installation in a near-downpour, because that's when they said it would be done. Also incredibly responsive to questions and followups going on almost a year after our installation. Highly recommended electrical, solar, battery, EV charger servidecs provider.
