If I could give them a 0 or negative stars I would. The manager here, Jen...Jenn or Jenni... some version of that name is rude and either inexperienced or completely overwhelmed by a position she needs to step away from. She called and didn't introduce herself as the manager, and I honestly thought I was talking to a rude employee, but when I called back asking to speak to the manager the employees informed me that I had been speaking to the manager. They informed me that she has a lot on her plate and the owner never shows up so she's running the place alone. The employees despite the manager are all kind ppl...even the man who delivered the oil was super sweet. There was a mix up with my check books and I handed them a check from an account that's no longer active. I didn't realize because who writes checks anymore? Also, my checking accounts shared the same background images on checks so I didn't realize it was the wrong one. I didn't do anything malicious or deceiving or theft like but Jenn sure treated me as I did. She yelled at me that she needs to get paid, when was I going to solve the issue because her oil needs to be paid for and I finally "pay your bill". I had explain when she called me with this concerned that I have no clue what happened and I will call the bank in the morning to figure it out if she would allow me until the next day to figure it out. I also explained I was currently driving home from NY where I'm employed and she caught me at a difficult time since I just came off a 16 hrs shift...had only 5hrs to sleep now to then turn around and head back to work that night. I didn't have time to call the bank but I wasnt rude and I was apologetic. She was rude, demeaning, and yelled to communicate. She also didn't inform me that she can take a credit card payment over the phone which would have avoided that whole interaction. The employees did give me the info and I gave up some of my 5hr sleep to solve the issue...so here's me working on 4hrs of sleep after calling the bank and the company to resolve the issue and Jenn still couldn't act human. Will never use this place again. Thank Jenn.

Polar Energy is just the best heating oil company ever! I have been using them for years now. My husband just discovered we had 2" of oil left. I immediately ordered 100 gallons, I received a confirmation call back in minutes and within 33 minutes of my order they were here! On a Sunday, with the impending snow storm, and they came out, I cannot even believe it. Everyone I've ever talked to there is so sweet. Thank you Danielle!!! Everyone there is super friendly and courteous and the driver was great, too. Love Polar Energy!!!

Excellent service! They were willing to price match and took the next day's forecast into consideration and called me yhe evening before to get me an earlier delivery so I'd have oil for the storm!

I have used polar energy for oil deliveries many times. At one point their driver arrived to my property to deliver oil and over filled the tank, as he was too pre occupied with playing with his dog in my yard. At this time two years ago(2018), they had said someone would contact us about this issues. Fast forward to 2020, they charged me for this oil- even though I’ve gotten oil from them several times in between with no mention of their error. While I did receive a refund, I was hung up on twice by the “manager”. The unprofessionalism was daunting. As I attempted to ask to speak with the owner, I was hung up on yet again. I’ll be awaiting a call back from the owner Ron to further discuss this matter, however thought others should be aware of how rude some staff members are! Customer service goes a long way!

I called them during a cold snap in need of oil and they came the next day. Other oil companies I could not even get through to them or they could not come for 4 days or more. Since then I am on automatic delivery with Polar and no issues.
