We had just moved into the area and our garbage can was exploding with moving boxes. Unfortunately we forgot Monday was trash day. I was holding my brand new baby and wasn't able to run the can out to the road in time but guess what? The man operating the garbage truck saw our can - he stopped and hauled our can to the road and dumped it for us! We appreciated it so much! If you're deciding between WM or Ponderosa Waste, go with Ponderosa Waste all the way!

We had been very pleased with after moving away from WM. But today someone drove up and pulled trash bags out of our bin with no communication so of course we put trash bags back in bin not knowing what happened. While working in the yard an unmarked truck ripped into our driveway and pulled trash bags out again and then peeled off shooting rocks everywhere. Called company to see what was going on and they were combative and seemed angry that we were even contacting them. Canceled on the spot, same truck ripped into driveway and took trash bin and shot rocks everywhere while peeling out. Other trash options keep looking.

If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. A random guy in an unmarked truck pulled up to our trash can this morning and pulled a bag of pine needles off the top of the can and placed them to the side. This seemed super weird and we have had our trash can like this multiple times in the past so didn't think much of it. I put the bag bag in the trash can. As my husband and I were outside planning some landscaping, same truck pulled up behind our trash can extremely aggressively, nearly hitting the trash can and messing up our freshly laid landscaping rock. Then grabbed the bag at the top, threw it into the bed of his truck and sped off through our neighbor's driveway, throwing their landscaping rocks into ours, and screeching his tires as he aggressively drove away. I then called the company, explained my concern and was told "well I came by earlier and put the bag to the side to pick up later and some guy put it back in!" So I told him I was the woman who put it back in because it was extremely strange that some random person took it out early without any explanation. Canceled service immediately, I am owed $ since I was billed for May and June in April but I don't want to even deal with that man anymore... Literally cannot believe that just happened.

When WM bought out Larson, I tired contacting them, and after hours of being on hold I made the decision to switch. Ponderosa is less expensive, easy to get ahold of, local, and reliable. I'm very happy.

Since we switched to them, (because another company bought the company we were with) I've NEVER been happier with our garbage service!!!! We have NEVER not had our garbage picked up (even because it snowed. Duh. It snows up here. If you can't do your job when it snows, move somewhere it doesn't snow!) Their rates are AWESOME!! I clean for a living. I have gotten several people to switch to them because the alternative, well.... One person is paying less than HALF what she was for getting picked up every other week!
Please don't sell out or go out of business!!! It'd be horrible for someone else to have a monopoly up here! Seriously, don't even think about it! Switch to this company and help to give us a choice in garbage service. (plus, it's WAY better, for LESS, service!!)
(I have been given nothing for this review. If I could scream it from the top of the mountain, I would! I'm also talking everyone I know into switching for the reasons listed above. UPDATE! Today we both forgot to pull the can to the street. Those AMAZING guys came and dumped our garbage anyway!!! You won't find any other garbage service that'll do that for you!!
