They don’t call it a Chicago classic for nothing. Incredible variety in the menu and quality in every option available. The Italian beef sandwich was delicious as well as the famous chocolate cake shake. Atmosphere is vibrant and locally themed. Will be stopping by on every road trip through Illinois.

Stopped here because it was close off the highway and we wanted italian beef. We were very pleasantly surprised with courteous and thoughtful staff to go along with the great food.

Great to see families and teens hanging out someplace like this on a Saturday night.

Good location, fast service. Great tasting food. I think some of the items are a little pricey, but the food is very good, very clean establishment. Everyone seems to work hard, and they look pretty happy. Very good music selection playing.

Tired of these fast food places ripping you off. You pay their expensive prices to get screwed over.had the worst fish sandwich ever. Full of breading. I asked for extra tarter and they put zero on it. They forgot my cheese sauce and large fry was half full. $30 down the drain for two fish sandwich and half a order of fries. Lazy ASF workers

Over $60 for a couple mid hot dogs, fries and two beers? No thanks. I never understood the love for this place. I make better Italian beef at home.

The man who took our order was nice but the workers had not a pleasant attitude and the girl who handed me our food didn’t say a word legit just put the bag in my face through the window. And to top it off we missed 2 hot dogs and our burgers were wrong and gross. Probably the worst portillos I’ve been too and I love portillos. Spent $50 on garbage.

October 2024 update. This place has really hit rock bottom. The drive thru will show you all you need to know. It used to be around the block now there hardly anyone there. $15 for a combo and no ice in my ICE tea 🤦🏻‍♂️. Lady didn’t know what sweet n low was 🤦🏻‍♂️. Look at the beef in my picture!!! Hardly any meat in it and 75c for two tiny pieces of pepper ffs. I know inflation is high but this place like a lot of other fast food places has lost the plot. Topped with bad service forget about it. Never coming back to this one. Go to Indiana instead.
