I've only done pickup here and never had any issue other than the wait time being quite a bit longer than expected. The food has always been great and I like the location. It's very big and spacious with a giant free parking lot. I recommend it if you're looking for a good sandwich in the area. Just like every other potbelly I've been too, and they never seen to have ingredient shortages.

I’ve had many an occasion where i’ve ordered either takeout or delivery from this potbelly’s and i’ve had to call back or drive out of my way to get my ordered fixed or get a refund, but i’ve never been pissed enough to write a review. today that changes. i ordered delivery from this potbelly’s and half of my order was missing; a sandwich, a side, and a soup. i called and they informed me that since potbelly’s outsourced delivery’s to doordash, that the dasher probably stole the food and they couldn’t refund my delivery fee, just part of the order. i decided to have them remake the missing items and i went to pick them up from the restaurant , they were polite and even gave me an extra couple cookies for the inconvenience.
i was not going to write this review until i got home after going out of the way and replacing my girlfriends food, and i went to eat my food which i didn’t even get to check before leaving, to which i found a literally inedible sandwich . i ordered a wreck with no salami and no ham(should just have roast beef and turkey then, i CANNOT eat PORK) . all i got on the sandwich was ham and salami. it’s like the people in the kitchen read my ticket and laughed .
they messed up the bread and toppings too of course !! pictures attached below.
i have had a LOT of disappointing experiences at this potbelly’s over the last year, but this time really takes the cake . thanks for the cookies .

I placed an order 03/18/2025 for pickup @5:56p. I don’t even know where to begin. How do you not get ingredients correct when you are looking at a list. No cheese, no mustard, no hot peppers therefore no taste and the list goes on. I wasn’t sure it had meat because it was scrapes of turkey. I thought Ford City was bad but you got them beat. If they gave out an award for the worst sandwich shop you would win hands down. 😣

I recently visited the Potbelly Sandwich shop in Hyde Park, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! Brittney and her coworkers went above and beyond to ensure every customer felt valued and satisfied.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. Brittney was particularly attentive, offering recommendations and making sure my order was just right. The team worked seamlessly together, making the atmosphere lively and welcoming.

The sandwiches were delicious, made with fresh ingredients and packed with flavor. I truly appreciated the care that Brittney and her team put into preparing the meal!

The hyde park location is not welcoming at all. There are so many great restaurants to attend yet I chose this location. Staff is not inviting whatsoever. I asked for no pickles but instead I get no pickles and no peppers although I repeated my toppings twice. Upon paying for my order, i felt rushed by the manager even though I was the only customer in line.

I went to this restaurant on 9/1/2022 and my experience was good. I ordered “The Wreck” sandwich on wheat bread with a strawberry milkshake. They had good customer service and were doing their best even when the line got long. The person who checked
me out still made time to answer my questions about the Potbelly app. I was satisfied with everything I got for lunch. Highly recommend downloading the app as well.
