Best energy service provider with very reasonable energy pricing relative to today’s “norm”.

My only gripe, which is enough of a gripe to be responsible for me docking them two whole stars on this review, is that their automated system is ABSOLUTELY garbage and faulty, and wildly unreliable, and it takes probably three or four times more time than it should to accomplish an automated over-the-phone payment if you should ever have to. It was incredibly infuriating and has happened more than just a few times.

I understand I could/should get on an auto-pay or online (whatever) for my energy payments, but it hasn’t worked out that way so far. But that automated phone payment nonsense should be remedied; I mean, I’ve had better experiences with the DMV than I’ve had paying my electric bill over the phone with PVREA.

Sorry about the long gripe, because other than their awful auto phone payment system we have no complaints with them and would still prefer getting their energy than from any of their counterparts/competition.

PV REA has been wonderful in the service they have provided us. From great customer service when I have a question or when I have to call in to pay a bill, to providing assistance and updates during outages. Five Star service and great service representatives!

Thank you guys for working so hard to restore power last night. It was a 4-hour outage during high 80’s and low 90’s temperatures. Having the power come back on was a sense of relief before bed. Wait on hold 10 minutes to be told I was transferred to the “overflow” calls and they could not answer my question so I need to call back in ten minutes and repeat the process. Of course after calling back yet again, went to overflow who could not help. So I asked if they could return my call and the answer was no. Really, a monopoly that knows you have no choice for your electric so you’re not treated like a Customer who would obviously just take their business elsewhere with this kind of service. . Because you can’t! Poudre Valley you’re an embarrassment to customer service and fully taking advantage that your customers have no choice.

Alex was knowledgeable, professional, respectful, and most importantly kind. He taught me about using my thermostat to schedule both heating and cooling for comfort and efficiency. I never leave reviews for things like this but I had to after my experience with PVREA. I enrolled for service with PVREA and by the time I moved and had to cancel, I had some technical difficulties that ended up with my service not being stopped when I thought it was. Tami called me and was polite and helpful in getting it figured out even when it was frustrating for me to hear about the lack of initial cancellation. I received the final bill the next day and called support to make the payment. I spoke to Michelle on the phone and she was amazing, she went above and beyond and let me know my options when I brought her a concern over the bill. She was the epitome of great customer service. I left the phone call with all my concerns gone, and a smile on my face. PVREA support is hands down the best I've received for any services like this!

I recently had a bit of a dispute over a payment. The person on the phone was very kind, but said that was just their policy. She however brought the issue to her supervisor on our behalf and they turned it around and made things right. A company that is willing to do that is someone I don't mind giving my business to!
