Honestly one of the BEST professionals we've ever hired! Chris is so responsive, timely, does what he says he's going to do and does a wonderful job. It's hard to even get people out where we live, and he showed up and did a great job on a generator and some electrical work we needed. He even came out promptly when I called to check on a small issue we were having, which turned out to be no fault of his own. We will definitely be calling on him for future electrical jobs. In January 2024, in the middle of very strong storm systems coming across Northern California, my Kohler 14KW propane generator took a dump. Not good at all when the generator is used to power up batteries when without sun to charge system.
I researched two Kohler Generator dealers in the Redding area, read reviews, and saw that Chris was highly recommended by past customers.
I called PowerUp and explained my major problem to his wife and she said " Chris will call you, he's on a job in a rural area".
Sure enough about 5 PM Chris called. He said he was booked but would squeeze me in the next morning.
As he stated he showed up the next morning and did all he could to fix the generator. As with my luck, it needed a part and 2 days later he came back with the part.
I made the decision, without pressure from Chris, to upgrade to a 20KW and have Chris rebuild the 14KW as it was still having issues.
On Monday morning January 22nd. in the pouring rain, Chris and Nathan along with another gentleman arrived with new 20KW.
Several hours later, after removing the 14, they fired up the new 20 and everything is back to normal if not better. Our lives are back.
If you find yourself in the same situation we found ourselves in, PowerUp. Is the one to call.
His wife was understanding and polite, Chris and his team arrived as promised, in pouring rain, and was a God Sent.
Thank You Chris. I now have peace of mind, living off the grid, knowing PowerUp is there when needed.
I can not say enough good things about Chris and Nathan.
