This company is stuck in the 1800's, I over paid some how the system allowed me to over pay 300 plus dollars. I called for a refund and they said they cant even though it had been less then 24hrs, it would take 6 weeks to get a check in the mail... I can refund instantly on my small business its 2024 not 1874. the mayors office need to step in !! this is a joke. the old lady needs to be fired with her nasty attitude blaming me for not checking my emails, her attitude was nasty and rude. i filed a complaint with my phone number today oct 4 2024 on a printed misc. issues paper. I bet the board will never get. this monopoly is a joke and the staff rude. I will sell and move as soon as i can afford it. its 2024 and Prattville needs to do better !

Their customer service skills are non existent, they don’t deserve a single start rating. Unfortunately with being the only place to have running water through, we customers have no choice, but to deal with the rude, nasty way they speak to us, and on top on all that, they don’t have the human decency to call, and say absolutely anything to their customers. You can’t sit on the phone, and tell me you have “8,000” customers, and it would cost more to call, to inform them of their service being shut off… spectrum has a load of customers, oh and don’t get me started on the power company, the moment you’re late they call, send an email, and more to inform you that it needs to be paid. You guys are just so lazy you can’t even pick up a phone to call someone at least an hour before. People have children, full time jobs, and don’t always remember to pay every single bill. God forbid y’all forget something one day. Do better Prattville, this place is running in the ground. Definitely not the preferred community.

Requested the leak at meter to be repaired via a phone call. A month later it was still not repaired and I placed a work order via online. Thought it was repaired but, here we are place another work order for repairs online for the same problem.

We forgot to pay our bill. The lady we spoke with said we could pay it that day and our water would be back on that day that was a lie we called all the way up to 830 but they kept lying saying they was communicating with the emergency service to come out to got our water back on and no one never showed up. They just lie for no reason because they know they have control over who or what goes on with the water. Have any of you notice on any review that we post no one from there never responds. Because they don't care.

I have had several interactions with the Prattville Water Works Board, from some billing issues (my fault) to needling an emergency water cutoff, to editing my user profile. In person, or over the phone, they have always been friendly, and more importantly efficient and quick. Getting a problem fixed on my e-bill took less than 3 minutes even though I had to speak to 2 different people. Thanks fr the help!

For the love of god, the greediest company I have ever dealt with. Forgot to pay my bill. Woke up with a notice on the door and no water. Do better and start giving like a days notice. It doesn’t seem right to me that they can just cut off a basic human need because of a small mistake. A car repossession is better put together than this excuse of a water board.
