Don’t be fooled by the slick salesperson or brochure. I was supposed to have an operating system with battery backup in July of this year, it’s now the middle of November. They failed inspection 7 times, wtf They seemed shocked that the batteries needed to be placed in a specific area and when told to move them they just eyeballed it I guess, because next failed inspection they were told it needed to be moved 4 inches more, they didn’t follow their own drawings, than the drawings turned out to be incorrect and had to be redone. So I have a system that I paid 85 k for but have been unable to turn on or enjoy any of the benefits of. DO NOT RECOMMEND. On the other hand if u need a new roof installed without solar, their roofing division was excellent..
1-3-25 Update......they sent one guy over in mid december to finally turn on their system and pick up a check for final payment, unfortunately when he turned on the system it didn't work, I'm just spitballing here but instead of waiting 5 months after you install a system to turn it on and find out you need to order a part to make it work, maybe turn it on after you initially install it...anyway still waiting on a part ....

I am currently in need of a company to assess my malfunctioning solar panels and determine if they need to be repaired or replaced. I came across Prosolar in Oakland Park and was given a business card from Juan Carlos for an appointment.

Initially, Juan Carlos was very responsive and we scheduled an appointment for Thursday. However, after waiting the entire day for their visit, I contacted him and was informed that they were busy and could only come on Monday. I explained that I would not be home on Monday due to a trip and requested to reschedule for when I returned.

To my disappointment, I never received a call or confirmation for the rescheduled appointment. I reached out to them again yesterday but have not received a response. This lack of communication and poor customer service experience has left me extremely frustrated. If this is the level of service before a sale, I can’t imagine how’s the experience after sales if I have issues. Overall, this has been the worst experience and I would not recommend Prosolar based on my interactions with them.

ProSolar completed the installation of our home solar power system last week. They started with replacing our old shingles roof with a beautiful metal roof. A week later, the solar panels arrived and another installation team came to do that work. They did a very professional-looking, clean, unobtrusive job. Finally, our Tesla PowerWalls arrived and were installed. The system works beautifully. I expected many more hiccups in the installation process and we really experienced no issues worth speaking about. Everyone we met and worked with was super-nice and helpful. I highly recommend this company. They did a great job from start to finish!

ProSolar was the 4th solar company we interviewed and we were prepared for our meeting with Jonathan Rush to share our current energy usage, hear about ProSolar, etc. etc. etc. My goal was to align price / product and most importantly, feel as though we weren't just being 'sold' and instead were partnering with a company who was committed to customer service, the industry, and the local economy.

I was blown away with our meeting. The price was inline with expectations and more importantly Jonathan was able to immediately convey his tenure in this space, command of various components for ensuring our project would be successful (permitting process, design elements of the solar field based on our roof line, his ability to articulate tax incentives and various financing options, etc), their local presence, and why ProSolar is a unique solar company.

We GLADLY signed with ProSolar and we have been extremely satisfied. We met with the site project manager, connected easily with their office staff (Annette is a dream), and the project was on-time, expertly installed, and without issue.

The efforts of Jonathan and Annette throughout the process to keep us informed every step of the way has me ecstatic. And the cherry on top? I even spoke to the owner briefly when he placed a call to Jonathan while at our kitchen table --- he's highly engaged in his company and it's clear his leadership is driving such a successful company.

Do yourself a favor and stop searching for the right solar company -- you've found ProSolar, only thing to do from here is engage with them and start seeing your FPL bill go down!
