First of all, I want to say I have never posted an on-line review. However, I am so impressed with and grateful for the service provided by Mr. Cliff Woodard (owner of PEESI Engineering) that I would be doing homeowners everywhere a disservice by not sharing my testimony.

After my rental house recently suffered water damage, I called a water damage restoration company. After briefly working on the mitigation process (during which my tenants were evacuated, per company advice), the company refused to do further work, unless my house is tested for mold. I reluctantly agreed to the testing (since the company had already stirred up fear in my tenants' hearts by informing them of concern over potential mold, instead of contacting me first to discuss). Once the appointment was made for next day, Mr. Cliff called me later that evening. Although it was my first time speaking with him, Mr. Cliff spent about 1 hour on the phone with me. During our call, he was very patient, and provided me with excellent info that calmed my anxious heart (I had asked him so many questions). The next AM (before our afternoon appointment), Mr. Cliff called once again & we spoke for another half hour. Once I met Mr. Cliff & his son (Ted) later that day, it quickly became obvious to me that they are a very experienced & knowledgeable team. After making thorough examination of affected areas, Mr. Cliff was able to make an accurate preliminary assessment & provided a sound remediation plan. With his approval, I was able to quickly continue the remediation effort, which was finished in 4 days. Next day (Saturday afternoon), Mr. Cliff and Ted came in to complete the mold testing. They provided the testing result in record time (~ 6 hours) & provided me with good news that the house was cleared for my tenants to move back (just in time, as the 1 week of motel stay I had arranged for my tenants was due to end Sunday).

I thank the good Lord for sending Mr. Cliff to be my much-needed help & voice of reason in midst of a mess. God bless you, sir!

We have had a small leak (galvanized pipe) in our kitchen behind the cabinets along the outer wall for a few months. We've had all sorts of professionals come out including water restoration specialists, general contractors, an insurance agent, plumbers and gutter repairers. They all had their guesses, and all were wrong. A realtor gave us Cliff's name. The day I called, he could sense the desperation in my voice, and came that very day. He had 4 different devices that he used to test for water behind sheet rock, wood, tile AND BRICK! As he used each of those devices, he was able to determine where there was water and where there wasn't. His knowledge as an engineer along with his tools, were crucial. I've always been a believer that when you need help at a home improvement store, you look for the most experienced employee to ask because they are the most knowledgeable when addressing difficult problems. That certainly was the case here. Mr. Woodward has helped more than 8,000 home owners, like us, over the past 20 years. You bet he knows water damage and mold.

If I could leave a 10 star rating, I would! Mr. Woodward is among the most knowledgeable, highly educated, professionals of any kind that we have had the pleasure of working with. He is also an incredibly kind and wonderful human being and a great listener for panicky homeowners (me!)

Our home developed a serious plumbing problem over the holidays and my whole family was forced to move out of our house due to a resultant mold issue. Mr. Woodward fit us in to his incredibly busy schedule to help out. He has been, and continues to be, an angel for my whole family. He has eased our stress considerably by quickly providing us with the the critical information we needed to move forward with repairs..

His prices are more than fair for his exceptionally professional evaluation, testing, advice, and follow through. I'll bet in the end, we save thousands of dollars by getting lucky enough to find PEESI. The tests and evaluations can be expensive but that is just the nature of the horrible mold beast! To properly evaluate a mold issue, you honestly might need expensive technology. TBH, I was so desperate that I would have paid any price for his expertise, but in no way has he overcharged us or taken advantage of our situation. He is as honest as they come, a true gent.

We have renovated three old houses in Houston over the years and I have personally dealt with tens of professionals, across all trades. PEESI Engineering is among the very best and Mr. Woodward's business card has already gone into my treasured stack of professionals we can trust in Houston!!!

Cliff Woodward owner of Peesi Engineering is Honest, Very Educated in the field of work his company does. It is blows my mind why he only has 4.8 out of 5 Stars. He is a true and professional indiviual with Outstanding knowledge to correctly evaluate your problem and correct it immediately. Mr. Woodward is definitely a FIVE STAR OWNER OF HIS COMPANY. Anything lower than 5 stars is degrading to this gentleman and the work he does. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.
