Not a bad place to stay overall. It was a good price and they serve breakfast and have a pool and spa. When we arrived it is definitely a dated look to the hotel but no big deal. I did not like that the smoking area was right in front of the main door. It made the lobby smell like cigarettes. The front desk staff were very nice when we arrived. They had a baggage cart but there is no elevator and the whole place is a split level design which was odd. The did have handicap rooms right by the ground level lobby if that matters to you. The pool was 7am-11pm which was great. The pool towels always seemed to be in short supply but staff would get them for you if requested. The pool was pretty big for being indoors. It was a comfortable temperature and deep enough (5ft max). The hot tub was not too hot but was a tad bit low at the surface so the bubble jets made it look like a bubbling cauldron (more amusing than anything). They had a bathroom in the pool area for kids which is always good. The rooms were small, and the bathroom cramped. The door opened inward on the bathroom and barely cleared the toilet rim (if the door swung outwards problem solved). There were plenty of clean smelling towels which I appreciate. The sheets were clean and the beds comfortable. There was a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave in the room. Breakfast had hot options such as waffles and biscuits and gravy (canned), cereal, yogurt, toast, fruit, and juice. Not a bad spread for the price. Wasn't too loud either despite the location being near railroad tracks.

We have stayed here twice and will not be back. We arrived late and there was no parking. The guy at check in was trying to be helpful and offered us his spot. It was extremely loud in the evenings. The breakfast was standard with barely any seating, but they don’t want you to take it to the room. The whole hotel feels damp and musty. The pool was decent and the hot tub was working. We were flying in and out flight was delayed by 3 hours. I appreciated the call to check in on us and make sure we were still coming.

The rooms appeared to be clean and weren't too outdated for this price. The breakfast was a joke. They did have waffles but the juice was watered down and there was no protein options. Don't let the breakfast be your selling point. Service was nice but expect the 100 deposit in addition to your room price. The hot tub is decent but the water pressure is pretty high and your hair will definitely get wet. Other than breakfast and the far too powerful water jets, everything was pretty decent. It's also a few steps away from Culver's which is very convenient. Also loud neighbors but that's not the fault of the staff, walls seem to be a little thin.

It was so humid in my room all my belongings constantly felt damp and the room felt hot even with the air at 61, The sink water smelt like bleach, no duvet covers just a sheet on top and on bottom of the duvet which is very gross. Parking lot is a disaster in the evenings, not enough spots and the spots are small so many cars take up more than 1 spot. Staff is super helpful and nice, Would not stay here again though.

I had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend it. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. They were always available to assist us with anything we needed. The service was fantastic.

The breakfast was great with a variety of options. My wife lived the waffles and I loved the biscuits and gravy. The pool and hot tub were great! The kids really enjoyed the pool. It was a great temperature for the little ones! Definitely recommend bringing your swimsuit as this pool area is a great place to unwind before going to bed after a busy day of sightseeing.

The location of this hotel is very convenient. It is also right next door to Culvers if you want a meal or ice cream treat before hitting the pool!

The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and soft pillows allowing for a great night's sleep.

This is a great hotel if you are in town to go to Vallyfair or the Mall of America- both just minutes away. If you are staying over the weekend there is a farmer's market and a church - all within walking distance.

Overall, I highly recommend Quality Inn Savage to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel that offers comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. I will definitely be back when visiting this area for work or pleasure.

Gross. Dirty lobby, the whole place reeked of weed, clearly they don't enforce the signs about fines for smoking inside. We had to leave early because we felt sick, we were told we'd get refunded for the second night but that didn't happen. They told me I had to contact the third party website I booked through, but they never responded to them either. The lighting is horrid, this place looks absolutely nothing like the photoshopped pictures they show online. They must pay people to write the decent reviews online, they are lying. It's nasty. Go somewhere else.

Positive: The bed was comfortable Negative: I was unaware until check-in that i had to pay a $100 deposit. I'm on a budget and if I would've known that ahead of time I would not have stayed. Room key cards deactivated twice on me. Water temp was not consistent.

Nice place, I had a King Suite. Beds is super comfortable. The parking is very tight for a 4 door truck with 35 inch tires. The only downside is if you're not use to trains you hear them often. I'm use to them. But I know others that are not might have an issue.

Update!!!
I called to try and get a refund and Nancy the general manager lied about “damage” I did. I told her that the salsa could have easily came out in the washer with bleach. She said they don’t use bleach because it ruins the sheets? That’s absolutely disgusting. That means those sheets are not getting properly cleaned. She would not give me Paul the owners number no matter how many times I asked. These people are liars and scammers. This place is ABSOLUTELY disgusting!!!! Save your money and don’t go here.

I stayed there for 7 nights. The maids did not come in to clean the room ONCE the entire time I was there. My boyfriend spilled a tiny bit of salsa on the sheets and I got charged $100 for it. The whole place smells like cigarette smoke, people stand outside of the door and just smoke and it seeps into the hotel. There’s bugs in the rooms. Absolutely disgusting.

Had a wonderful stay other than my car getting totaled. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, answered my plethora of questions as it was my first vacation out of state. Would stay here again, if i parked a couple blocks away. Pool area was noticeably dirty but staff was very attentive.
