My son and I went 2 weeks ago to check things out. We recently moved here from Phoenix and we love thrift shops. The ladies were very nice to us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. They even offered us a cold beverage on that hot day. The store was set up really nice and organized. We can't wait to go back there to look around again.

Never had an issue and always shown respect and superior customer service. Left some valuables in a donation and given a call from Salvation Army to come and get them. Now that is going above and beyond in providing service. I am looking at the one star reviews (laughing to myself) and see some people need an attitude adjustment.

I've been reading some of the negative reviews. I suppose I can relate to some of them. I don't know why the folks here are so nice to me and so sincere in the help they give me.
My first time in Quartzsite I was on a touring bicycle and like most bicycle tourists I had the things I absolutely couldn't lose in my day pack. I later learned that the no daypack rule is a Quartzsite quirk that doesn't cause a problem in a normal town. Even though Quartzsite lies on a transcontinental bicycle route carrying tourists from around the world we warn each other not to stop here. Quartzsite businesses have no interest in meeting our needs and have policies that actively discourage pedal powered tourists.
I don't have a solution for the no daypack rule. The only reason I can think of for such an unusual and inconvenient rule is that we might knock things over or jostle folks with it. We can't reach a pack on our back so they aren't used for shoplifting. Oh well 'when in Quartzsite, do as Quartzsite does'.
I do a slow roll when I travel and seldom pass up a thrift store. Even though this store barely makes it into the top ten I would still give it ten stars for excellence.
It was in 2015 when I first discovered that some Quartzsite businesses were off limits to human powered tourists. I returned a few months later to make Quartzsite my home. This town has been good to me and LeeAnn (spelling Incorrect) and her crew have been an important part of my happy retirement.
Every time I go in I notice some change that makes things better. Improving things that are already good is a fine example of dedication to caring for others.
Sure there were moments when someone failed to make me feel like the center of the universe. Much more often I was left wondering why these people put so much effort into treating me so well.
When I see something that I might like them to do differently I remember that they have lots of combined experience and are sincere in living a life of service.
I am grateful to the folks that make this store happen.
My advice to potential customers is that if you come in with joy, kindness and compassion delivered with cheerful considerate courtesy you will receive the same in return.
Thank You thank you to everyone who makes it happen.
See y'all Tuesday

It's never open. They won't let you try on the clothes. They have no public bathroom and no dressing rooms that are allowed to be used.

The best Sally Ann store I have been to
Reasonable prices and well organized
In Feb. 2023 everyone was still wearing masks to protect their volunteers, I fully support that
This is a cute sign, very Quartzsite

Came here looking for something. I rode my bike into town because it was easier than driving my RV that day. Had my small backpack on and some woman near the door rudely tells me (didn't ask) that I have to leave my backpack at the front. I'm pretty sure I look nothing like a vagrant wanting to steal your second hand junk. Use a little common sense when dealing with the public and learn how to address people respectfully
