Raypak H-0135 residential boiler failed exactly after 1-year warranty.
Local tech support could not fix.
The design and built looks like from a century ago.

Bought this pool heater about 1.5 years! They sent a totally different heater! Took 5 months to exchange! Had Leslie pool install it! Has had minor unnoticeable leak from the get go! This year as I started it , water rushed out from The inlet/ outlet header! The winterization panel was opened and noticed the rubber gasket is pinched in two areas and water is gushing from the two areas! Poor assembly and no return call or response to my files claim! It is a mess! 😤

Attended classes at the Innovation Learning Center. Very nice facility. Catered lunch and had hands on training. Took a basic boilers class and it was VERY basic. More basic than I thought it would be but good for someone new to the field.

The new Innovation Learning Center is AWESOME. For the building as a whole it is very clean. Along with that they have their own water bottles so that's cool too. Would come again for more training! Thanks Raypak.

Could use a lil more parking tho.

I bought a high-end pool heater, the X94, a couple of years ago and have had a bunch of challenges, the most frustrating one being that they do not have a part available to fix the heater even though it was on order weeks ago. When we ask for an update, they can't even provide a time frame for when it will be available! We have been planning a Memorial Day weekend party for months and now have to cancel at the last minute. Incredibly disappointing. I never write reviews but felt that I had no choice here because I don't want people to have the awful experience that I have had.

We had our pool renovated, including installing a new heater, beginning in the spring of 2022. Due to issues with one of the contractors, the renovation was not completed until the end of August, so we did not get to actually use the pool for long that year. We were able to run the heater at that time and heard a whistling noise coming from it. I called the installer, who came out and looked at it. He then called a RayPak rep to inspect it. The RayPak rep's first suggestion was that the gas meter and supply line were inadequate for the heater. He then suggested that I call the gas company and lie to them, telling them that I smelled gas at the meter. This was supposed to make them run out and change it, upgrading it at the same time. This was both unethical and didn't change anything when they finally did change the meter. (As well as the supply line to the meter and from the meter to the heater) Since then, another year has gone by with no solution. RayPak has thrown parts at it 3 to 4 times now and the noise is still there. I sent another email asking what the status was, after demanding they replace the unit in October. It is now mid-December. They replied asking for my address so they could send more parts. Parts for a repair that will not be completed until late April at the earliest. All they appear to be doing is pushing me off until the warranty expires. I do not want to pursue legal action, but they may leave me no choice.

Update 2/19/2024: I have received the replacement heater and it should be installed in a couple of months when I have the pool opened. If it all works properly, I will revise my reviews with the appropriate information.

Update 5/24/2024: The heater has been installed and appears to be working properly. I appreciate the resolution but not the lengths I had to resort to for this resolution.

Absolutely the worst tech support out of any boiler manufacturer. They say they will call you back and then they're analysist will not answer on the call back and hang up so they don't have to do their job. Buy another brand as Raypak is a complete waste of money IMO

Attended many classes and toured the factory every time. Fully catered and snacks available. Very accommodating to my Vegan diet. Service and support are top notch. Still enjoy stopping by to pick up parts on will call.
