Have called for months since the new driver has taken over after being trained to to drive in and take my garbage 1.5 bin. They have missed me 5 times already. And again today after calling the office to double confirm my service. I’m unsure what time they come now ? And charged extra for over load due to them not picking up. 😡still waiting on a manager call back 1 month later.

Constantly been missing the yard and garden or organics waste can now. Put in a missed pick up ticket. They said a driver would come pick it up yesterday (never did). E mailed them again today and they said the driver took a photo and the can wasn't out. Can has been sitting in the same spot since Monday, its now Thursday with rotting food in it.

Very poor customer service. Driver will most definitely retaliate if you complaint about them carelessly dropping your bin on it's side blocking your driveway. Was charged for service not received for months. Office staff laughed at me when I informed them that no service could have been provided because the house was vacant before I moved in due to my dad passing away. Manager stop by when I informed them I was going to contact the city department that oversees their contract only to lie and say matter would be addressed. Never happened and was forced to pay for services not received due to them threating to place a lien on property. Then I was told they had no record of me contacting them or coming into their office pre covid when female at counter laughed at me telling her mt dad had passed so no service could have been provided for the time the house was vacant. Very rude and nasty staff. Franchise Agreement should not be renewed. Can be found online. Terms are not complied with and no other company to switch to due to the monopoly granted to them by the city of Oroville.

I recently had to drop off some trash at the transfer station on S. 5th in Oroville. I just had a couple of things so it was only $15. After I backed my car up to the disposal site, got out and opened up my hatchback, the tractor came right behind my car which blasted so much hot stinking trash dust into my face and into my car! I couldn't get unloaded and out of there fast enough. My dog and I were literally choking. The operator could have waited 30 seconds for me to drop off my item and leave. It was intentionally rude of that operator!

Butte County Recology seems shady. It feels like a scam. Their billing over the past two years is consistently inaccurate. There are some really unprofessional and unreliable people working there; especially this one guy we will name later, is one of the rudest, most unprofessional people we have had the displeasure of having any contact with. The place seems to be run so unprofessionally. It was reliable, friendly and you didn't feel you were being scammed when it was ran by Dan Shea. Now, it feels like a constant scam that you are forced to tolerate. Perhaps an audit is in order. Maybe they need to be reported to an oversight agency. One employee told us that under the current management, "It's the worst, now!" We have good drivers for the most part. The recycling guy tends to leave our bin a bit far from where he picks it up. But the gray bin guy is super consistent.

Im not sure what people expect. But the drivers are friendly and do what they are supposed to do and the CSR is always friendly when I have to go to the dump. Everyone is always polite and helpful. Thank you folks for doing a job that people ignore or complain about.

Today our recycled driver dumped our blue recycle container into his truck instead of stopping getting out and retrieving the can he compacted it into the back of the truck we sat there and watched it but he didn't know who we were watching. When I confronted him and asked him why he didn't just get out and retrieve the can he said we have to call the office to get it replaced that was his answer. When I explained to him of his it was his job to take care of his customers and to be more careful and not waste tax dollars because you're lazy. He then told me I did not understand what I was talking about yet I'm an 18-year journeyman CDL truck driver in the construction field in the tri counties area. At that point he yelled at me and told me to call the office it's not his problem. I went into the office and filed a written complaint it's drivers like that, that smear and give my field a bad name. Those are not semi trucks they're garbage dump trucks. Yet everybody says "truck drivers". For the record those are not truck drivers so please do not categorize them into my field they have not earned the respect. I guess recology feels like they're the only garbage solution that we have so they can just treat us anyway, sure seems that way. At this point between my neighbor and I we still have missing three garbage cans two green waste that disappeared and one more blue recycling that got crushed in the truck today.
