Had to deal with my dads estate sadly and did weird service requests several times over 5 months. They were nothing but friendly and reliable everytime. Weird to say but they were a calm amongst many stresses when I had to call.

This company has skipped me 4 times, and each time, they tell me it won't happen again, but it does. It feels like every month, I'm calling in for them to come get my trash. On top of that, they have a dumped glass not even from my bin near my driveway entrance three times. I don't honestly understand how one company can be in charge of the whole city. I think the city needs to look into how recology is operating. Also, I have to add because I saw a review on here mentioning how they were being skipped because of their race. We are the only Mexican family living in this culde sac, so I wonder if that is just a coincidence that we are the only ones being skipped.

My green waste can was damaged by their disposal truck in November. I called customer service for replacement. I was told it would take a "couple of weeks". In the meantime, I was instructed to leave the can out after each pick up date until 6pm because the truck with the new cans ran a different route. Two weeks, three weeks, four weeks, it is now February 2023. Still, no can after repeated phone calls to them. I've repaired the can just so that I can continue getting my green waste picked up.

UPDATE: Still waiting to get a damaged green waste can replaced. On February 6th, customer service told one would be dropped off on February 10th; didn't happen. Then I was "promised" one would be "rushed" on February 15th; didn't happen either. Today I was told nothing showed a February 15th delivery. However, I was told, one IS scheduled for February 17th.

Customer service is poor but what makes it worse is their lack of accountability and lack of being able to resolve what seems to be a common issue.

RESOLVED:
I'm happy to say I received a call from customer service after business hours on February 15th. I was told their manger would be replacing the damaged can later in the evening. That is commendable, greatly appreciated but unexpected. Thank you.

Booo... zero attention to detail...cans are put out neatly by 6am. Sometimes my street is skipped if not the cans are left looking like they don't care. Shame on you. Put things back how you got them.

I think you should change your open hours to include sat sun and close monday and tuesday Your employees can get more accomplished on there days off and when on vacation it is far less expensive to boo mon and tues.

My green bin was destroyed by Recology’s vehicle. Was told it was a 6-8 week lead time to have it replaced. It’s been 8 weeks and issue hasn’t been resolved.

I spoke with customer service agent Nick. He did me a solid a set me up on the “hot ticket.” Was told I’d be getting a green bin with the week. He told me he called me back and keep me updated. I didn’t get a call back with an update and I didn’t get my green bin within the week.

I go to the landfill pretty regularly and they have good prices and people are super nice, only issue I’ve had recently is the wait time to weigh and pay. They have had a bunch of issues with their WiFi and card reader and I’ve waited in one spot for 20 minutes one day. Other than that it’s a great place to go dump whatever you need
