As I write this review I sit in front of delicious homemade king fish tacos.

Fishing with Captain Anthony was a privilege and a massively educational experience. We fished out of the sturdy and slick moving 31 foot contender with sweet dual suzook 300 hundreds. It was a beautiful day weather wise with barely any chop on the water which factored in our favor.

Captain Anthony put us on a massive barracuda less than 45 minutes into the charter. That fish put on a fight and made me work and then he proceeded to get our entire party of 4 each on fish at-least once and then three times moreover after that towards the end which yielded copious table-fare for weeks in the form of two nice king fish.

It’s definitely an experience worth having if factors go your way. Reel Floridian does their part to ensure the controllable factors are accounted for. Barring bad weather and or bad luck, I don’t see why you shouldn’t go for it.

I am new to all of this and learned a lot. One thing I learned worth noting is that quality Captains work commands a tip so be conscious of that going in. Captain anthony earned his cut at 18% - 19% of the total charter fare. To be fair he deserved more now that I chew into this taco 🌮 and think about it more 🤔.

Anyways, I highly recommend the charter it was fun as heck and it made my birthday week better!

We had the best fishing experience with Captain Gab and Braxton!! Nice fish and a lot of fun. They even spent more time with us to go fish for sharks. 10/10

Lucas and Tyler are so knowledgeable and work so well together. They answered at least a thousand questions and really engaged with us helping is learn. They are great about communicating and being sure we had fun. As a bonus, they even cleaned and fileted the fish and sent it home with us on ice. Just delicious! 10/10 highly recommend.

Had a great 5 hour charter with Captain TJ out of Pompano Beach where we trolled for Wahoo (we caught a 20 pounder), live baited over reefs and bottom fished. It was a great mixture of fishing aimed to keep my 9 year old engaged and excited. Captain TJ was incredibly knowledgeable and happy to teach us along the way. We will be back for another round with TJ in a couple of days.

We had an amazing experience with Reel Floridian! Even though the weather didn’t allow for safe bottom fishing with the kids, they went above and beyond to ensure we still had a great time. We ended up trolling and caught some barracuda, which was so exciting for everyone! The captain was incredibly patient with the boys, taking the time to teach and make them feel comfortable. The professionalism and dedication truly made the day unforgettable. Highly recommend Reel Floridian for a family-friendly and fun fishing trip!

Captain Gabriel was great. Made sure we were able to go where we could catch fish. Also was super helpful in teaching key fishing tips. Unfortunately the first mate was sick and unable to join but we were still taken care of. Had a great time. Would definitely go again.

Captain Chris and reel Floridian are the best! Very easy to book with and always responsive when you have questions. This was our second fishing charter with captain Chris and he is a great captain. Always making sure we are enjoying our time and we have come home with lots of fish to take home and have caught some trophy fish! If there is bad weather they are always willing to reschedule and work with our schedules. We will definitely be back to Pompano and will be booking again with Captain Chris!
