Very clean for its age. And a comfortable room. But the owner would not explain to me why I was paying $60 plus taxes pernight instead of what was advertised out front on the sign for $49.99.

The the sign at the road says $49.99 but I was charged $69.99 because owner said $20 more for 2 people. The place was nicer before this guy took over. Don't like the new owner. Runs his mouth too much and $69.99 I would rather stay somewhere closer to civilization. Wont be back

Very nice and quiet. I like the old retro style bathroom the old tile from back in the 60s and 70s and the old bathtub from the 60s and 70s and also the old faucets from the '60s and '70s and 50s. I will be staying here again if I ever come down this way.

Terrible location and very unclean. Bed bugs everywhere. The owners are complete racists. They refuse to let you use their restroom. Had to pay just to have access to a restroom and it was definitely a biohazard in there. I doubt they pass any sort of inspection. You are better off sleeping outside in the snow. Or staying behind an abandoned building. Racist hillbillies will love this place since the owners are just like them. Very unfortunate. This place needs to be shut down and boarded up. Sleep in your car before you sleep here. I am sure the owners have been evading any sort of inspection for a very long time. The owners are very rude and insensitive as well. They do not need to be managing any sort of business. Very unsafe location.

Old facility, but well-maintained. We almost passed it by as it is an old motel (outside entrances), but we decided to stop as there isn't much else unless we back-tracked quite a ways.

The assumed owner would probably come across as a bit rude but it's been my experience that in his culture, and many others, politeness doesn't exist. He checked us in as we stood outside. Maybe the small lobby is open at other times. There was a small, commercial brewer inside, but we were in late and left early. I doubt there was breakfast as it was very inexpensive at $55.

Genuine room keys.

No frills at this place. No coffee makers. No microwave or fridge. I don't know what was on TV as we didn't watch anything. Small table and two chairs. Might have been an iron but I didn't look.

The room was small, but clean. Not clean under the bed, but I didn't sleep down there. I only noticed when doing the post-stay check. The rest of the room was very clean. The King bed was hard, but I didn't wake up hurting or anything.

Walls are a little thin and it's right next to the highway so a little noisy, which is to be expected.

No fan or heat vents in the bathroom, but again, it was clean. When we checked in, the bathroom window was open to keep the room aired out.

There was a drop box for the keys outside the office and an ice maker outside next to the office which was clean and worked well

Overall, I would stay there again if I just needed to sleep and didn't plan on sticking around. Probably not my go-to for a vacation spot but, not a bad place. The price was right.

Came upon this little hotel in a run back from Orlando. I had been up too many hours and was glad to see their sign, as I was very sleepy.. It was an ok hotel .. The bed Actually slept better than the beds I had been sleeping in for the past two weeks in hotels in Florida..

I have stayed here many times, the price is reasonable and the rooms are adequate. I find the hosts quite friendly. This is an old 1950s motel that has been remodeled. Their slogan is, "Old but Nice." That's pretty accurate. It's nothing fancy, but I didn't expect fancy. There's plenty of hot water for a shower and the air conditioning works well, the sheets are clean and it's quiet, what more can you ask?

Fast forward 5 years, it's now 2018. First trip to Florida in 5 years. Got my favorite room and all was fine until about 4:30 am. A couple checked into the room next door and slammed their door waking me up about half way. Then the guy went over and opened the door that adjoins our rooms (my side was closed) but he slammed it waking me up the rest of the way. Then they started arguing loudly. I think the guy had picked up a prostitute from what I could gather. I got up and pounded loudly on the adjoining door and said, "Be quiet!" I hear a "huh?" from next door. I said, "Be quiet! It's 4:30 in the morning...you woke me up!" They did quiet down but continued talking, trying to negotiate a price, I guess. By then I was wide awake. There was no way I could get back to sleep. I got dressed and hit the road. VERY disappointing. I had always felt comfortable here before. The motel was practically empty, I don't know why the owner put somebody in the room right next to me at 4:30 in the morning when it wasn't necessary. I don't think I'll be coming back. Sad. I am revising my 4 star rating to a 2.

I would have given it a 5 star but I got charged way more than they have on the glowing neon sign. But still took it because I didn't want to drive any more. The location is convenient especially on road trips. And they need to dust more. But other than that it was not that bad. Just need to turn off the neon sign with the different price.
