Renvu is awesome, especially for a homeowner installer. They have staff that will help you with everything from drawings, engineering stamps and ordering. In my case it was a few rounds to get from the initial design until final drawings and approval from the city. Nick May was great throughout the whole process. He helped with the initial order all the way to post order support with APSystems (FYI APSystems will not work directly with owner installers). Since it took several weeks from order to final approval the panels I originally ordered were not available anymore, so Nick and Renvu upgraded me to better panels at the same price!

I highly, highly recommend Renvu and in fact this is the second time I have used them. Great support and great prices it is an absolute win win.

Renvu was an awesome company to work with. I was building a 34KW solar array on my property and got quotes from multiple solar equipment providers but in the end I chose to go with Renvu because of their customer service, pricing and permitting capabilities. My project got assigned to Kevin Leong who is a Renvu solar sales and design engineer and he was fantastic to work and extremely knowledgeable. I did my own install from start to finish with the help of Gwen and her staff at Renvu. You can do it too! I'm 71 years old and there are a lot of hills and valleys that you have to work thru but the people at Renvu are patient and honest and will stick with you if you have the drive to see it thru. All you need is little DYI experience and with the help of Renvu you can install your own solar . I have to thank the Staff at Renvu for sticking with me. My solar system works great and I have no more high electricity bills. I couldn't have done it without Gwen and Renvu. Thanks again . Clay

In the fall of 2015 I researched the Internet on getting into the SOLAR GAME. As a retired HVAC Contractor I had a pretty good understanding of Electric but needed some guidance. I contacted many Companies but soon learned that all I was , was a number and they tried to over sell me with products that I didn't need and drove my budget up way to high. Then I ran across RENVU and sales associate by the name of Ian Mccluskey. Not only does Ian know his products he knows how to treat people like a human being with his professionalism and service. Because of budget restraints my project was installed in a couple of stages and on the second stage I ran into a damaged shipment (NO FAULT OF RENVU)!! and Ian and Renvu stepped up to the plate and made what would have normally been a bad dissatisfied customer 100% Satisfied and happy. I ordered Peimar panels with Solar edge inverter and Unirac racking from Renvu, My order was delayed due to availability which was not communicated upfront, however Kevin offered Hanwah panels at the same price and shipped them to our house in timely manner. Kevin also helped with some planning stuff and was patient enough with all my questions, since I am doing it for first time. After the first inspection our city inspector asked us to resubmit plans with some changes and Kevin helped us to get updated plans free of cost. Except the hiccup with Peimar panels I had a positive experience with Renvu and of-course I have referred them to lot of my friends.

Six months ago I started planning a solar system for our new house in Arizona. After talking to a couple of wholesalers, I decided to go on this trip with Renvu. I am an engineer/scientist but have no solar installation background whatsoever. Since I got quotes from the bigger turn-key solar outfitters for almost three times the price, I wanted to go all the way by myself with the installation. Our electrician just did the grid tie-in to be safe.
Roque from Renvu was incredibly helpful and responsive. I particularly appreciate that he didn’t give me any “sales BS” but rather answered my questions carefully and got additional information from his team if needed. We had dozens of conversations to size the system just right and to optimize the cost and the return, tailored to all the constraints of city approvals, APS power company approvals, house power service amperage, and our usage, and then about installation details and electrical connections. The overall cost of the system in the end came out barely above $1k per kW DC (22.3 kW).
This is a huge system (58 panels) and I personally tightened every nut and bolt. The most difficult thing was to get the panels on the roof but with some thinking and a small electric winch it worked.
Renvu provided the PE stamped plans for permits and approvals and sent me everything I needed to Arizona, from roof mounting hardware to the grid disconnects.
Other difficulties included shipping damage (a forklift at UPS poking through some panels) which again was handled quickly and efficiently by Renvu.
Overall, it was definitely not an easy undertaking but Renvu exceeded my expectations up to the moment when I finally flipped the switch this week and started enjoying my own power and carbon offsets.

A DYI solar project can be a big undertaking. Once I setttled on using Renvu for all the equipment and my electrical diagram, things got much easier. Prices were good, delivery was quick and excellent, and everything works as expected. And the Renvu rep stayed in touch to monitor my progress.
