It is easy to give a positive rating to a company when every thing goes as planned. I understand that not everything always goes as planned and I rate companies on how they respond when there are challenges. I want to give a shout out to Wayne Schnier and team for the good work they do communicating with us and working hard to make the process seamless as possible. I started their residential garbage service August 2021. Over the next 6 months, pick up was frequently delayed or skipped until one sometimes two days later. Then service got better for a while and was on time and regular for about 4 months. Off and on the service was spotty, and the 96 gallon container got switched for a smaller one. Now for the last 5 months the service has become very reliable. I had a phone call from the local service manager who said the larger container is being returned. Call the local people who can take care of you if you need something. The national call center doesn't seem to be connected to what happens.

We use Republic Services at 4 different locations; two are businesses and two are residential apartment buildings. We are very happy with their service. Our rep Wayne does a great job and is available for questions. They report to us if the schedule is going to change for any reason. We use their website to retrieve and pay our bills and to look at information regarding each property where we have dumpsters.

2022-Sept-11 Initial Review: They often don't pick up on the day they are supposed to pick up. This past week, recycling wasn't picked up at all: Tuesday pick up day, called Wednesday evening, still not picked up midday on Saturday so I took it to the dump myself. They may have labor shortage problems, but it's time find a different service. I have been patient for months if not a year.

2022-Sept-13 Update: Republic called me and said their driver issues are fixed. I am giving them another chance. If it goes well, my review will improve.

I read the bad reviews and was amazed! I have had Republic for our weekly trash pickup provider for about 5 years. They have been always helpful making sure their service was satisfactory. I get a message if they are delayed during the daily run. We are semi seasonal. They have always worked with us on pricing and being very fair with our different circumstances! The best part is, when you call them, you get to talk to a REAL local person!

Almost $100 per month, then do not pick up on time. The first week they forgot to drop off our bins. This week they did not take recycling. Called to cancel today and told we will be charged $286 plus a $50 deposit. They just dropped off our bins a few days ago. Customer service was no help. We are not happy at all.
