I installed an electric and pool heating solar system with revco back in 2007. Revco will not stand behind the products they sell, and your warranties are essentially worthless
Tiffany who runs their warranty department, and Jim their sales department do not return phone calls. Beware of working with this company.

Our pool solar is 13 years old and is in need of replacement. The original installers are no longer in my area. It is the old rubber system and the rubber has been deteriorating and last summers heat collapsed the tubes because the system did not have a pressure valve.
Long story short,,,
We received 4 estimates. The last company REVCO SOLAR came out and gave us an estimate. The technician left the toggle switch on the solar system in a neutral position instead off OFF after his look at the system. (Our solar has been off now for the last 7 months.) When our pool pump started up at 9am the next morning, it caused our solar to turn on which pushed water through the old deteriorated rubber tubes flushing the entire decayed rubber particles into our pool. At 9:15am we happened to look out the window and saw what was happening and turned our pump off. The damage was already done.
We contacted REVCO SOLAR, sent photos and explained what they had created. They refused to take responsibility, blaming our old Solar system. When they were confronted with the fact that 3 other companies came out, gave estimates and did not create this disaster, they chose to ignore our request for them to 1. hire someone with a portable pool vacuum to clean the mess up or 2. we would vacuum our pool ourselves and then request for them to contribute $125.00 for someone to then come clean all the debris from our filters.
Their response was they would discount their solar replacement cost 5% ( $288.00) stating that would cover the cost of a pool guy cleaning up the mess. BTW we are the pool guy.
So long story short- DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO REVCO SOLAR. They also were $1,556 dollars higher for the same new solar system as a lower bid with a company that we have seen their work. REVCO’s estimate actually was one panel less- 8, we are getting 9.

A simple apology and an effort to help with this error would have been greatly appreciated. Instead they did not take responsibility for their error.

I had an old pool solar system installed by another company that is no longer in business. A neighbor referred me to Revco Solar to get a new system installed. They were extremely professional, and the technician (Morgan I think) knew what he was doing. Happy I can swim this early in the year!

I want to put my comments in context by noting that I am an engineer by training and experience. REVCO delivered a very robust well functioning solar panel system and controls for our residence. The materials they use and their installation and commissioning work are high quality. Their price was reasonable relative to quality of their product. There were a few (but very few) technical and scheduling problems during the project. REVCO's many years of experience in the solar field really showed in their ability to resolve these problems quickly. My hat's off to their guys on the ground Ulises (I did spell that correctly) and Hector. They are real craftsmen who are consistent in their care that your system works well and about its appearance. To top it off, they are very pleasant to work with. Mainly, they installed and commissioned an excellent system that is working better than I expected per results now showing on our utility company billings. Their sales guy Jim was great to work with, his promises balanced perfectly with their results, and his follow up during negotiations was professional and reasonable. Jim answered all questions to our satisfaction. He did not drive us nuts for an answer after he sent the proposal like some of their competitors sales folk. The reasonable sales approach is actually one of the reasons we selected REVCO. Also, hat is off to Taylor who had to figure out how to schedule all of this in the midst of their other customer's needs and various crises. REVCO is very highly recommended!

I hired RevCo several years ago to repair a solar pool heater that was installed by a company that had gone under. The repair seemed to work until the rooftop pipes they installed began to warp in the sun and ripped out of the roof.
I decided it was time to start over with a new system and called to set up an appointment to buy a whole new system.
Several messages were left and I got no response. When I finally got ahold of someone we set up a service call but had to wait several weeks.
The appointed day came and the technician was a no-show. Hours later I got a call saying they’d have to cancel due to a positive Covid test.
Ok, I thought. Things happen. We rescheduled.
Another day taken off work and another no-show. No courtesy call this time. So I called them.
The technician was running late they said. It might be another hour, but the tech would call when they were on the way.
No-show, no call. Two days off work wasted waiting for a company that clearly doesn’t need my business.
Now I have holes in my roof due to their shoddy workmanship and materials.
Looks like I’ll have to go to another company.
Take your business elsewhere. I will.

I think I called RevCo, had an appointment, met with Jim, and had the paper proposal all in the same day! They made dealing with my HOA a piece of cake, and the whole team was responsive and friendly, thanks Tiffany and Leslie! We installed a solar pool heating system on our roof, and we are already happy and swimming in our warm pool! Thanks for making this home improvement so easy for us!

I received estimates from 2 other companies. They were similar to REVCO in price, however I went with REVCO because they have been around for so long. I am very happy I went with REVCO. They installed the system quick, and answered all questions my wife and I had. They installed solar electric, but we are considering getting it for our pool as well.

Won't honor warranty for leaking pool solar panel. Referred me to manufacturer. No help there, either. Don't use this company.
