We arrived at this place 15 min before 6:00 pm, and the employees refused to receive the trash because they must leave at 6 o'clock sharp. What kind of customer service this company is giving? they should evaluate their employees and take a decision, if they do not want to give a good service then they should look for another job

To the people complaining about the smell and about buying a home there no one told you to purschase a home across the street from a processing plant. the plant has been located there for well over 30+ years. There’s actually a county landfill down the street that produces the odors but a lot of people are Uneducated about the matter. The place does amazing things for the community and helps eliminate the waste the residents of dade county produce.

As a marine engineer living in the Doral area, I can appreciate what this facility accomplishes for the community. Converting trash to electricity is about as close to achieving something for nothing as you can get. The alternative would be landfills which would simply pollute groundwater and land .The smell is not that bad and it is very infrequent. Like I said, consider the alternative.Covanta has really worked to solve this problem over the years. Considering the massive amount of overdevelopment that has occured in this area and the resulting increase in trash means that this facility is well worth it.
