Decided to try this place out after a trip to the zoo. When we pulled up, there was lively music playing in the outdoor searing area. It sounded great. However, we had a young child with is so opted on inside seating. The inside was decorated beautifully! The place settings and tables all looked really nice. It was more of an upscale feel to it than I had expected. Definitely a wonderful place to go on date night it seemed.

The service was fast. They brought the children's plate out first, which I really appreciated so that she was occupied and we had time to get her situated before our food came out.

The food was amazing! I got the Pionono and he got the Chuleta Kan Kan. It was so delicious! The flavor profiles were perfect. They did overcook my egg, as I had asked for over easy. And one of his pork steaks was overdone, but they cooked another one up right away, which ended up being perfect! We will definitely be back!

Wow, we don't know where to start. The service from the Big Guy was really bad. He was arrogant and had a bad attitude. Right when we sat down, he asked us what drinks we wanted, and we said water and to give us a few minutes to look over the menu. He turned around and loudly said "unbelievable". Right then, we wanted to leave but stayed because we were hungry. So we ordered a pitcher of Sangria, appetizers and entrees. The sangria was very sweet and tasted like grape juice. When "Big G" served the sangria, he spilled it all over the table in front of us and never cleaned it up. The pork was overcooked, plantains burned, and chicken was dry. The appetizers were the same as the entrees but bigger portions. After dinner, we paid the bill, and the server selected a 22% tip. This guy is a real jerk and looked at us and said audios. We will never go back again. It is shameful because the atmosphere is nice, but the server and food are terrible.

We celebrated my husband's birthday here and the food was amazing. The prices are a bit high in my opinion and the happy hour isn't great. But the service, atmosphere and food were all great! We had mofongo, fried pork, arrow de gandules, chicken sandwiches and fried whole snapper (it was dry and not as fresh as we would like and it was $40. The drinks were good but even at happy hour they were $13. Buy one get one 50%. We would go back definitely for the mofongo

Brought my wife and 2 daughters and we all had a wonderful experience. The fried pork was absolutely fantastic. All said we spent $150 with 4 entrees, an appetizer, 1 drink from the bar and a tip. Very friendly staff and super clean and upscale atmosphere.

We visited Rice and Beans in Wesley Chapel for a late lunch with my wife and daughter, and were pleasantly surprised by the size and ambiance of the restaurant. Though it's a casual dining experience, the space has an upscale feel, and the prices reflect that, with most dishes over $20.

Despite the higher price point, I was in a great mood and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I ordered the skirt steak (churrasco) with shrimp. The steak was tender and well-prepared, but next time, I would skip the shrimp, as the sauce overpowered the flavor of the beef. For my side, I had the trifongo, which was excellent.

My wife chose the fried snapper (chillo frito), and it was a beautiful dish. While we hoped for a bit more seasoning, the fish itself was so fresh and tender that it made up for it. The tostones, however, were a bit of a letdown—they were pressed too thin for our liking.

Our daughter ordered the chicken tenders, and she really enjoyed her meal, so no complaints there. We ended the meal with a tres leches, and it was a fantastic way to wrap up the experience—a true highlight of the meal.

Oh! And the queso frito with dulce de guayaba was excellent too!

Food is good. Service is friendly. Good atmosphere. Good vibe. The only thing I didn’t like in my personal opinion is I felt the food was a little bit overpriced. Now don’t get me wrong. I know this is a restaurant restaurant and they have to charge accordingly, but in all my years of eating Spanish food, I felt that it was a little bit more than what they should be charging. But like I said, the food is good.
