Best lodging with the best view of the ocean in town! My husband and I stayed in the Headlands House for the week of my birthday, and we didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed all the luxurious amenities in the room, but the best part is being able to see and hear the ocean waves while in bed. Customer service is just a phone call or an email away and the prompt response was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be staying here for our future visits. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

We stayed at the Headlands House and it was perfect. Very easy check in/check out. The place was very clean, the bed super comfy and lots of towels. The best part was the amazing views of the river, the ocean, the sunset and all of the wildlife. We had two dinners at the restaurant and both were very good. We loved the special locals menu on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This is THE BEST place to stay to relax and connect with nature. There is no better view from your bed (or couch or balcony) than the river flowing out into the ocean with seals playing with their pups on the beach as the sun sets, with the soundtrack of waves crashing. No better place. We especially enjoyed our stay in the Starfish cabin.
Do pay attention to the warnings about this being a remote place; while the River's Inn is an excellent restaurant and you should definitely plan a dinner there, there is not an abundance of other places to eat without driving a ways. Just plan for that. Cafe Aquatic makes a pretty good breakfast, though!

This is the 3rd or 4th time we've been to the cabins and we love the simple space, beautiful views, and great hospitality. They now have WiFi, which was great as cell service (Verizon, ATT) is not available and we were trying to coordinate reservations for wineries and food options. We had dinner at River's End restaurant and it was amazing as always! We also had an after dinner cocktail at the bar which was a nice way to end our day. This is a great location to unplug, enjoy the beautiful CA coast, and check out the local wineries, Armstrong Woods, and food options.

Very comfortable accommodations. Floor to ceiling windows and private deck. Wonderful views of the mouth of the Russian River, the ocean, and of course, the diverse wildlife. We had a late lunch so for dinner we went to the restaurant/bar to have a bite at the bar. Excellent food. We could have split a plate and still had plenty.

My wife and I love going here. The restaurant at Rivers End is top notch! We always enjoy a cocktail and an excellent meal after we kayak the river. We enjoy staying at one of the vintage cabins. The cabins are comfy and cozy with excellent views of the river and ocean .The staff here is super friendly and really care about your stay at the inn.

The view from the room was simply magical. An uninterrupted vista of the Russian River estuary & the Pacific Ocean beyond. West facing so perfect for a sunset glass of wine, purchased from a tasting at a vineyard on the way to the hotel. The room was well equipped, clean & very comfy. We had a lovely stay. We will definitely be returning.

Picture perfect little cabin. Outstanding view of the river and ocean. Private deck with chairs was terrific, but we had a couch in a sitting area that looked out over the water as well. Loved both options. Bed was super comfy. Roomy bathroom with nice amenities. The gas fireplace gave us plenty of warmth. We will definitely be back!!
