This store doesn't have near the selection of products other Rural king stores have. 2 things I was there for they don't carry. Was asked 4 or 5 times by 4 different employees if I needed any help! A little much dont you think? They followed me around like I was there to shoplift I guess! I can't spend alot of money each time but stealing is NOT what I'm doing just because my cart is empty or close to empty ! I DO spend alot of time LOOKING around just to see what's available. Looking not shoplifting!! I guess they prefer big spenders! Staff may appear to be friendly but it's an uncomfortable atmosphere when you're being watched like a hawk! And my (adult) son who was with me had same experience! Asked by same numerous employees if he needed any help. Folliwed around like I was! AND HE SPENT $600.00 there! Thats a big purchase imo but hey maybe not to Robinsin IL Rural King! There are are other more customer friendly Rural Kings within same distance from me that I shop at so my choices don't narrow me down to HAVING to shop Rural King IL!

An awesome country hardware store with a good old fashioned variety. Lots of power equipment (stihl), lawn mowers (Toro). All kinds of hardware, sporting goods, even clothing, and snacks.
Large variety of fencing supplies. Seeds, and flowers some herbs. Good service, and friendly staff for the most part.

Big R is a branch of Rural King but does carry a few different brands than a true Rural King. We found what we were looking for but did not think the prices were as good as at our regular Rural King.

Cashier's there are always so nice. All the other associates are very helpful. Usually have everything I come in for. Great place to buy Hill's Science dogfood.

Typical farm store. Wrong prices on shelf tags that are not honored. Showed employee. Employee said we don't have it and removed the tag. I just bought it! I want it for what the price tag shows not what it rings up for.

I would have given it 4-5 stars except that it seems they have done away with women's clothing. And I was interested in a pair of shoes that were 50 percent off but off of which price ? The price on the tag or the price on the sign? I didn't have time to run in and out of the store for assistance to find out so didn't get the shoes.

Small, independent franchise. This is more of local farm store than a big brand store. The check out staff rarely changes, been the for years. Friendly and helpful group works here.

In some places, you have to ask for help and wait for it to arrive. This store has plenty of staff that freely offer help.
