We have had San Pedro Valley Sanitation for approximately 5 years or so.
No real issues up until now.
Put my trash out, they went right by. Called, was told the problem was the small roll of carpet I pulled from the hallway. It gets tangled up in the pads. Ok. I took it out and they were to pick it up today. I had several bags from garden soil I threw in the trash. They grabbed the two trash bags from the kitchen and left everything else.
Called and asked why they didn't empty the trash can.
"We only take house hold trash."
I try to make this point:
"So, I'm suppose to figure out your definition of household trash?
If you are having an issue with what's being put into the trash containers, why don't you send your customers a flyer or an e-mail with a list of what is NOT considered household trash."
Rep gets defensive, refuses to listen, tells me she is ending this call and canceling our service.
I was a customer service representative for 10 years at a gas company in a big city.
I never cursed at her or was rude. I did raise my voice trying to make this point when she kept talking over me.
Keep up this kind of customer service and you will be out of business in no time.
So, no, I'm with Waste Management.

They expect elderly people to get up in the middle of the night to put out the trash. The night before won't work as animals or the wind tip it over. They have missed picking it up more than once and another time sent 2 ladies in a pickup who left us a cracked can. They also repeatedly ignore phone calls.

I can appreciate that they like to get an early start on pick up. However we have to put our trashes out Sunday night to get picked up before the sun rises Monday morning. Here's what happens. I get home from work at 11pm and put my trash out. Before the truck gets here the pigs take care of it while I'm sleeping. They tear it all apart in the road. So..my trash doesn't get picked up for 3 weeks because of this AND i have a huge mess to clean up out of the road. What am I supposed to do to prevent this? Not put trash in my can?!

Nicest folks ever. Trash can is picked up by conscientious driver and assistant. Local business, unlike others here.
Rates are very reasonable, and Owner supports the community in several ways. Have used SPVS for 3 1/2 years without complaint. Highly recommend.

My trash was out in time I called left a message the boss had her driver call me and talk to me only to tell me I was a liar and I didn’t have the trash out who has there employees call and talk down to there costumers. Also another date for the missed trash never happened for there mistake and it’s not the first time they have missed my trash.

My family and I live in the J-6 area and appreciate how helpful and hardworking the collectors are. There have been times I've left a lot out to pick up and they've never had an issue with that. If they see me pulling a large can of trash out to the curb, the gentlemen never hesitate to help me. They work fast and hard and it shows they work with a great company and are a part of a great team. Thank you for the valuable service you offer our community! I wish you lots of success!

Most affordable trash service in my area. Once a week pick up with emails for delays like Labor Day pushes back service because it’s a federal holiday. Love having the autopay option!

Had no problems in the past with SPVS, but now there is a problem. The driver who picks up my trash always leaves my container in the middle of my driveway at the bottom of the drive just off the road. I set the container off to the side away from the driveway when I set it out on Thursdays. After it is picked up the driver sets it in the middle of the driveway. I am disabled and if I leave to go to my doctor,therapy or other errands. I have to exit my vehicle to move the container to the side. Then later I go out to retrieve the container and return it to the rear of my home.
