Stayed for a long weekend in one of the two-room king suites. Large bedroom and living room, overall very comfortable. Some of the items and features of the rooms were a bit old or in need of updating. The freezer of the mini fridge didn’t really keep things frozen, there were some mystery stains on the couch, and the bedroom carpet had a stain or two (but clean/vacuumed otherwise). Also would be nice if there was slightly better light blocking for the sliding glass door in the bedroom; the shutters were nice but definitely didn’t keep the morning light out enough for us. The bed was comfortable, though, and appeared very clean. The shower/bathroom were also very clean. Loved the private jacuzzi/sun lounger area, was easy to get our time slots scheduled.
All the staff were super kind and helpful.
We played golf one of the days; very nice golf carts, decently well-kept fairways and greens, pleasantly not busy (we played on a Monday afternoon), beautiful views, and unexpected wildlife sightings.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay and we’d likely go back despite the few minor issues in our room.

I didn't realize that you have to tell them you want your room cleaned, so it didn't get cleaned the three days we were there. They didn't point that out when we checked in. The staff was friendly/helpful. We were able to get a pet friendly room. We were in town for a polo tournament and the location was super convenient- 5 minutes from the polo club (with a Starbucks on the way). The food in the restaurant was good.

Bin comming here for years. Started as a team building adventure with a utility company and after retirement personally came up with family on a regular get away basis.
Neat and ordinary facility and great New Years event.
Golf course is always maintained in great condition and never overbooked.

The food and service are great. Can be a bit loud when all the golfers converge on the bar but good natured. Only food downer is that they only have 1 fryer so your onion rings are a bit reminiscent of fried fish...not good. Good beer/ale selection on tap. Nice outdoor patio when the weather cooperates.

Nice that the room is spacious, and the view for us was nice, but the room cleaning was forgetful (took dirty plastic cups and didn't replace, left dirty mug as was), and the morning we were to check out, at 9am someone tried to come in the room with a pass key. Glad I had the chain on. The person didn't say sorry or anything - they just closed the door and ran off. It was most likely a cleaning staff member. And maybe the whole world has moved on and accepted this, but I think that charging an additional "resort fee" for what is essentially a nice motel is just not right. Also, the wifi was not reliable.

Nice resort, rooms are cosey and overall vibe relaxed and laid back, golf course is in good condition, fast greens and good roll on fairways. Only negative is you need to pay attention to your reservations especially any packages as they often make mistakes.

We came from San Francisco, on our way to LA. We stayed here for the night, and it was magical. Really, the management is so nice, we came super late and they were still there… the room was great with comfortable beds and a nice terrace. There’s also a spa in here with a hot tub, free to use for all guests of the hotel. Overall, it’s an amazing hotel right off route 1.
