Drastic upsell, misleading and outright lie. This was my experience from the SERVICE department. Two stars because their sales department was okay and where I bought my CRV from.

Billy from the service department tried to upsell me nearly 3x what the service manual and service interval called for, and tried to deny my door edge guard after I called ahead. I also requested a complimentary car wash to gauge their service. When picking up the car, I asked if the car wash washed since I saw it outside and Billy affirmed it was washed but collected a bit dust due to it sitting overnight. The car was not even touched-see pictures.

Now, the car wash itself is not important nor is it the reason I went to the dealer for. The direct lie, and up-sale was extremely concerning to me and reason why hey I would never take my car for service to this dealer again. What this service department needs is honesty and transparency. Simply state they don’t wash cars or they didn’t have a chance would be much better than being lied to.

Go to this dealer to shop for a car. DON’T go to them for service.

I don’t want to make this too long although there’s a lot of great things to say about Brandon Cisneros at Sierra Honda. He took care of me very well. He was honest, friendly, not overbearing, and most importantly, he genuinely wanted to help me. I got a beautiful 2025 Honda civic sport thanks to him! This is the fastest I’ve ever gotten a car. Definitely recommend him and Sierra Honda! ✨

My 2007 Honda Accord finally told me it was time to let it go. I was so sad when I walked in to Honda of Monrovia as saying goodbye to my old friend was extremely difficult. I am a Honda girl for life and so I knew I wanted a Honda and had been thinking of getting something bigger and something more gas friendly. When I walked in and met Saul Gaitan, he immediately answered all of my questions, showed me my dream car and worked with me to find a way to make it work with my budget. He also helped me with all of the paperwork with my old car, which was more complicated than it should have been. I am forever grateful for all of their help with this transition. As much as I will miss my old car, I love my new car endlessly. They truly are Helpful Honda people!

I have been a loyal customer of Sierra Honda Of Monrovia for nearly ten years, having leased three cars from this location. Last month, I decided to purchase a vehicle instead of leasing, but unfortunately, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed.

While the team was friendly during the purchasing process, the service quality declined afterward. I had questions about my purchase and contacted my sales representative multiple times via phone, email, and texts. Despite waiting over two weeks, I have not received a response. Strangely, this same individual quickly contacted me for positive feedback but has not addressed my inquiries or provided any follow-up.

Furthermore, the information provided during the financing process was unclear. I later received a bill that did not match what had been described to me. When I sought clarification, I was told it was “just how the system works” without a satisfactory explanation. This lack of transparency and dismissive attitude are disappointing and unacceptable.

While I appreciate the assistance I initially received, the overall customer service experience has fallen short of what I expected from a dealership I’ve trusted for many years. A simple acknowledgment or brief response would have gone a long way if the staff had not been able to answer customer questions.

At this point, I'd like to escalate my concerns to corporate. This location must address its customer service shortcomings to restore trust and ensure a better experience for future customers.

If this situation is not fix, then I highly recommend customer who is looking for new car, it’s better going to a different location rather than this location in Monrovia!!!

Chevy Driver converted!!!! After hassling with other dealerships, including Chevy, I decided to try Sierra Honda. Mayra Lopez is amazing, and really knows her EVs. This is my first foreign car, first Honda, and first EV. She took the time to help me set-up all of the apps needed and explained all the features in my new Honda Prologue. We purchased a 2025 Civic Hybrid from Hector at Sierra Honda and it was the smoothest car purchase I've experienced. Before coming in I got a written quote and they surprised us in taking off another ( Black Friday? ) discount when we sat down for the paperwork. No added features or warranties.
