Initial installation went smoothly. However, I learned two years after installation that an obsolete Solar log had been installed and no longer transmitted information. I called Chris and was told that they didn’t know where to get updated equipment. After many phone calls, I found a solution. Chris sent an employee to my house in May 2023 to pick up said equipment. It wasn’t until August 2023 that I found out that employee had been let go. No one knows what happened to the nearly $800 piece of equipment that I purchased for them to install. And too much time had elapsed for me to return it, even if it had been returned to me. They do not accept responsibility for any of this. Not very professional. Beware.

I had my solar installed with simply solar. They did all the permitting and paper work for the rebates. We have the ground mount and produce enough electric to cover our usage. Chris the solar guy was pleasant to deal with and explained everything thoroughly. Had a good experience overall. Would recommend.

Would not recommend working with anyone here. They placed the ground mount where they wanted it at even though I told them to move it back further and destroyed my field tile to my septic. Got charged twice as much as other people I have talked to about solar. My System did not generate for at least 30+ days due to the inverter not being properly installed and they almost all the time will send you to voicemail unless you are a new customer trying to purchase solar. Customer service is horrible and they are just trying to make a quick buck and don’t care who they hurt in the process. If you are an unaware 20 year old trying to help the planet and get solar go with someone else that won’t screw your eyes out.

My husband and I met with 4 different solar companies to compare pricing and service. We found Simply Solar met our needs and was the most affordable. Honestly, the most affordable by a long shot!

Once we signed on, the whole process moved quickly and smoothly. We really didn't have to do anything. The gals in the office took care of the permitting, the contact with Ameren, etc.
We basically sat back and watched. We were even provided with a website that contained our project and showed the process every step of the way.

Our system was installed in August of 2022. We have had minimal issues with it. A few of the panels went out, but the team was able to come out and assess the problem. After parts were ordered, my system was repaired in no time. Our system has been going strong ever since installation.

I have an app on my phone where I can see what my panels are doing at every minute of the day. It shows me the individual panels and their production. It has month by month, year by year comparative data. It shows me my production year to date and so much more.

I can't recommend this company enough. From Chris, the salesman who works with you to explain how everything works and determines your system size and cost, to the inspection guy, to the installation guys. All very down to earth, helpful people that really know what they are doing and put the customer's needs first. I pestered the installation guys, probably to the point of question harassment (haha), but they did their job quickly and professionally. They answered all of my 'stupid' questions and put me at ease every step of the way.

Phone calls made to the gals in the office were always answered promptly and their assistance and care was always so helpful and genuine. I never felt like a squeaky wheel calling them with my numerous requests.

One of the best parts is the federal tax credit you get the first year. And the additional check you get about 18 months after install. We are still awaiting our check but are very much looking forward to it. Both of these items offset the total cost of your system.

Also, keep in mind the cost of electricity is likely to keep rising. The return on your investment will not take long for you. For more information, call Chris, or the office. They can explain it all to you.
