Skyline Energy Savers was informative, helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions. I had received bids from other "big" Solar companies who had underlying contracts, prices, and a 4 month waiting period for install. Mort and Catrina Martin of Skyline Energy Savers were amazing! They were honest, up front, and didn't "over sell" me a system. They set me up with quick, fast, interest free financing, and a low payment. From consult to install- 3 weeks!! They handled the forms, etc.. I now own my system, not lease it, and my savings are monumental! I pay less per month to own this system than I paid to PG&E! If you are looking for a way to save money on your monthly bill, and create your own energy, I highly recommend you give Skyline Energy Savers a shot! You won't be sorry you did.

BEWARE - They use dishonest sales tactics. I received a proposal from them saying I needed to spend $38,000 to offset 100% of my electricity bill. While that is true, what I found from 3 other honest solar sales experts is all I really needed was a $22,000 system. Here's how they are tricking you into thinking they will save you a lot of money. The power company has many different rate plans for residential customers. If you pick the rate plan that's "best" for your needs you could be paying $1,000 less for electricity every year. Here's the deception they don't want you to know. When they give you the "custom" proposal for your home the "before" going solar price has you on the highest priced rate plan. And the "after going solar" price you pay has you on a different rate plan. What they don't tell you is just by changing rate plans and NOT installing solar your bill would be a lot less. (In my case it was $1,000 per year.)

This deception on their part makes it look like solar is an incredible deal when it's not. This is probably the worst time to buy solar. (They won't tell you this either.) There is a new generation of solar panels about to hit the market which produce twice as much electricity as the panels as they are selling. (And the price is about the same.) So if you are quoted $40.000 for a system if you wait, until later this year you'll only need to spend $20,000.)

These people are asking you to pay a lot of money on solar panels. I went with another company and who sold me the same size system this company was trying to sell me for $38,000. Company I went with charged me $16,000. Shop around, it could save you $22,000 like I did.

We had Skyline install 20 solar panels last December. Wow! We are saving lots of money on our PG&E bill every month.
Their team was professional and able to work with a great sense of urgency as we wanted to have our system installed by years end.

I recommend this company without any reservation!

We've had our system for a year now and it is everything Mort said it would be. We have a 2,000 sq ft. house and put in 12 panels. We have saved about 50% on our bill over the year. We also had Skyline replace our old hot water heater with a new on demand water heater and have saved a bundle on propane. We are no longer spending money to heat a 50 gallon water tank all day. Skyline came when they said they would and did the job on time. All of their contractors were professional and everyone of them cleaned up after themselves before they left. Nothing was left here for us to deal with. The great thing is that we now own our system, and the tax rebate was like winning the lotto.

We were looking to save significant money on our monthly electric bills and Mort and his team made it happen. We wanted to own a system not lease it so we could reap the tax credit benefit. Skyline put together the system we needed and rolled upgrading some of our windows into the package. The work was done on schedule and Mort followed up to make sure we were satisfied. We recommend talking with Skyline if you're considering going solar.

Had a great experience with Skyline Energy Savers. They installed a solar system for us, along with a tankless water heater. Top notch service all around. Good people to work with. Responded quickly. Overall I highly recommend.

I love Solar. I did a lot of research and settled on a company that felt was priced competitively and had a good reputation. We went with Skyline because of what they offered for the price and the genuine feeling that we were important to them. 1 year later I still feel this was a good choice. The panels save me more then 1/2 of my electric bill each month and I haven't had any problems with my system at all. Thanks Skyline.

We went with Skyline in August of 2013. We have had only one problem when our solar monitoring system went blank (although the solar power and transfers to SMUD were not effected) and the owner of Skyline, himself, was at our house the next day to resolve the problem. He did it on the spot. We also shopped among various Solar Companies before going with Skyline. They were state-of-the art and very competitive in price. They walk you through the entire rebate process and the process of getting on-line with SMUD or PG&E. They are professional and very customer satisfaction oriented. We are very satisfied!
