We had our pool for 8 years but could only afford to run the pool heat pump 1 wk a yr
when my family was visiting. We just had ECS install a Solar Heating System for the pool and remove the old heat pump. The solar heating system is great just as Tom Lane promised. Now the pool heats up to our desired temperature every day, automatically, at NO additional cost. We also had ECS remove our old 1 speed pool pump and replace it with a Programmable Variable Speed Pump. This variable speed pump has reduced our Electric Bill by +/- 30% each month. We can now use and enjoy our pool 8/9 months a year without any additional Cost for heating the water. Plus we are saving $$ on our Electric Bill. The ECS installation crew did a
great job installing and training me how to use the system. I highly recommend ECS.

We purchased a home that had an ECS solar pool heating system on the roof. The home needed a new roof so we spoke to ECS about removing and reinstalling it for the re-roof job. ECS stated if they removed it from the roof the warranty would remain in place but if someone else did it the warranty would be voided so we had ECS do the work. Later, many of the panels leaked due to aging from sun exposure. When we had them do the repairs they stated the warranty was voided as we were not the people that bought the system. ECS does not stand by their warranty and their solar pool heating panels do not hold up over time.

I bought a house recently that had a solar array on the roof to heat the pool that was installed by ECS. This is the first solar heated pool I've had and I've been blown away by how well it works. I can tell the installation job by ECS was done very well. My pool was at 93 degrees in April while pools that don't have heat were in the high 70s to low 80s. I've actually had to dial down the heat to keep it around 88 to 90 because it was getting too warm. ECS was very courteous on the phone when I called about proper maintenance techniques and they told me about a new cool product that will save more money and have our family swimming longer during the year.

Did a lot of research on solar pool heating before choosing ECS. Upgraded the pump to variable speed at the same time. Between the solar panels blocking a lot of heat from hitting the roof and the pump, my electric bill dropped $100/mo (on GRU). This year I was able to swim in April (used to late June-July) but then I like the pool a minimum of 85 degrees. Life is good. Panels have been up over a year so it Winters well.

I purchased a new home in Citrus Hills Florida in 2005. My wife and I wanted a pool with a solar system. After extensive research we choose ECS Solar Energy. In our research we found that Thomas Lane the owner of that company was extremly knowledgeable in the field of solar energy and he also taught and wrote the fountation on solar panel installation. We had his company install our system, at the same time my next door neighbor also had a pool and solar system installed by a different company. His home has all the same specs as mine right down to the pool size and facing position of the solar panels. What is amazing is our pool with the ECS panels manage to get our pool consistently warmer and quicker than my neighbors. In the winter months we average 4 to 5 degrees warmer than his. That really makes our pool useable more times during the winter months than our neighbors. That is very important if you want to have more days in the course of the year to enjoy your pool..
