We purchased the system outright and in just under four years we recouped the investment after the tax rebate in electricity savings. Now we have a small electric bill every month even with two EV's charging at home. We highly and only recommend Solar Optimum to our neighbors and anyone that asks about solar.

After doing my research and receiving three different bids, I chose SolarOptimum for the overall value, strong reputation and excellent warranty. I'm very happy with the results. SolarOptimum's crew was fast, efficient, and professional. There was an issue with the battery hardware and they proactively followed up and scheduled a replacement - effortless on my part. Communication with their team has been prompt and clear - not too much, not too little - and when I had questions and requests for minor changes in the design they were more than willing to work with me and make sure the system was sized appropriately.

We had consultations from a couple of other companies before we heard about Solar Optimum from a relative. We got a call from them almost immediately and ended up signing our contract at the end of August. We just recently purchased our property so we only had a month or two of utility bills available to help Solar Optimum determine what our energy needs would be. They were still able to help us out and come up with a system size that should offset our energy usage. They were very helpful and attentive throughout the entire process. We received regular updates from the Quality Assurance coordinator. The crew that came to install were so polite and efficient and the install was clean and exactly what we were hoping for. And even after we received permission to operate a few weeks ago from our utility provider, we were delighted at how attentive they continued to be when the Quality Assurance rep noticed that there was an error reading on our system. They sent out a tech right away and, after a couple of visits, the issue has been fixed and we're excited to see what our savings will be.

Everyone from the initial sales rep to the installer and electrician that came to the house were courteous, professional and prompt. Their bid was the least expensive without compromising on the brand material they used. The office staff was very responsive and answered my questions and emails within a day. They patiently explained everything until I was satisfied. They also pointed me to some possible rebate and discount opportunities that I was not aware of. I felt well taken care of and the project was completed without a hitch.

I reviewed quotes from several contractors and decided to go with Solar Optimum based on price and quality reviews. The goal was to get grandfathered into NEM 2.0 and see about a 4 yr investment return. Unfortunately, due to a variety of reasons, I decided that cut ties and cancel the contract. Solar Optimum refunded my $500 deposit. The speed of service was not meeting my expectations and I lost confidence in the team, primarily the Sales Rep. At the end of the day, we worked it out and it's all good. No one is perfect.
