Had my solar panels installed about 4 months ago and I am glad I did. Started my solar journey with another company but went with Solar Panther because they are local and honest. Installation and the entire process went very smoothly and they kept me well informed through it all. Had a micro-inverter go out today and they noticed it before i did and had a team out to do the warranty repair the same day! Very happy that I went with Solar Panther!

I can't speak highly enough about our experience with Solar Panther. Two other solar companies talked to us and we did not feel comfortable with them. We spoke with Solar Panther and felt so much better with everything. The cost, installation, the Hassel free experience was amazing. They took care of EVERYTHING for us. Best part, they're local and use all local help! The electric company they used is also local.

They're the first company to tell us that they also have a roofing business and IF we encounter bad weather or need a room replaced, they are a one stop shop. They can remove and store the panels and then fix our roof too, then reinstall them. (Of course, not free, but your insurance should help!)

Much better than a Solar company that is based out of another state that told us if we had issues it would basically be on us to find someone to remove and store the panels then pay again to reinstall them.

They also did all the paperwork for us. All we had to do was sit back and relax!
I recommend everyone to speak with Solar panther and get Solar panels through them.

I’ve had a very pleasant experience with the Solar Panther team. They also replaced my roof prior to placing the solar system so check out Roof Tiger if you plan on that too. They knocked it out in one day and gave me a deal no one else could match locally. So I had a chance to work with them on 2 home improvement jobs and have had no concerns at all.

They genuinely have your interest and your experience at the core of their business model and service philosophy. The whole process from application to implementation took around 3-4 months. Final product as seen in the images - couldn’t be happier.

I had need for the addition of a part that was required by Illinois Shines to complete my ability to enable renewable energy credits with the State of Illinois. I was given a list of installers and Solar Panther was able to supply the part needed and work me into their schedule so that I only had to wait only for a couple of days to complete something I had been working on for several months. I really appreciated their promptness in taking care of my need. They are a great organization, friendly personnel that quickly solved my problem. I would recommend them to anyone considering solar installation or help with the project.

Solar Panther put the solar array on my house in conjunction with Roof Tiger (their sister company) who put on my new roof. The quality of their work is solid.

We had a pile of issues with getting engineering approval for roof deck load because my house is 100+ years old -and- I foamed in the roof deck 8 years ago, so it was very difficult to get an engineering group to assess it. Ben was diligent, tenacious even, and got the approval take care of. Connecting to the house was a breeze, running conduit through the roof eaves down to tie-ins next to my meter. The panels are unobtrusive and lightweight, but fastened down well to channel frames. Balancing inverters are part of the roof hardware, so there's nothing special at all in my main panel. We just had to have room for large breaker. No batteries. No fuss. Cutoffs are external to the house, for Ameren personnel to use.

My house is now part of the grid, which has been a goal of mine for over a decade.

There's a lot of paperwork involved with solar, and Solar Panther took care of all of that. They have also kept in touch with me to make sure I was properly set up with Ameren to get my full 1-to-1 reimbursement for any surplus energy I deliver to the grid. (Yes, that means my meter runs backwards at times, which is pretty cool.)

I talked with them a lot before we started this project: about panel longevity, rebates, reimbursement from Ameren, and also their involvement in the long term health and functioning of my solar array. I was concerned with how well this technology is going to age and how Solar Panther would support it.

Solar Panther doesn't just show up, stick some panels on your roof, and walk away. They monitor and maintain your array. That's just part of their business.

The best part of all this is that once the panels were connected, it has just worked. I don't expect to have to spend any amount of my time fussing with the system, and I certainly haven't had to do much in the last four months since our install went live, except watch my power bill go down.

I recommend going solar. I recommend Solar Panther.
