Ok, between front end customer service with Tim and Kelly on the front end, and Anthony leading the greatest team of hard workers, Solar Savings Direct is 100% your ONLY choice for solar installation. Getting the ball rolling wasn’t as scary as I was anticipating because the communication was so quick and so clear. Installation day went to smoothly. Anthony was so kind and genuine. He introduced himself and the team, explained exactly what would happen and in what order. We knew off the bat we had made the best choice with Solar Savings Direct when the whole team seemed to love their jobs.. and one another. Their work ethic, experience, and joy working together actually made the day such a fun adventure. They were approachable when we had questions, and problem solvers when inevitably one step needed a plan B. The system itself is actually more efficient than what we were hoping for. The Tesla battery and entire system looks so sleek instead of intrusive. We love opening up the app and watching the power we are making instead of taking. During the day we can run all our appliances AND charge our electric car.. off the sun’s energy. We feel like we are making a difference AND not paying an astronomical utility bill. The Solar Savings Direct team + the quality of the equipment + ease of use + making a small difference + the cost of utility bill = very, very happy customers. We have been, and will continue to refer all of our friends and acquaintances directly to them with no hesitation. Thank you for an awesome experience.

0 stars is too good of a review for this company.
Short version: doing unapproved work, code violations, getting someone to call you back is impossible, now the system isn't even working right, and I'm pretty much 100% sure someone from this company has left a slanderous review on my business page to get back at me for making them do their job right. I feel sorry for the people they have done installs for who didn’t know any better and had stuff done incorrectly. I was only “Their worst customer ever” because I called them out on doing unapproved work and things incorrectly. Stay away from this place.

Did I get really upset with them and was I probably the worst customer they have ever had to deal with? Yes probably, but all I wanted was a job done correctly, to not be treated like they are doing me some favor for fixing their mistakes, and people to call back when they say they will, but that was far too much for this company.

I waited 8 months for my system to be installed, once they finally came to do the installation, they had missed an issue with my wiring and wanted to back out of doing the job entirely. I fought with them to get them to continue with the job and fix what they missed but from there on out they treated me like they had done me some huge favor for fixing what they missed in the first place.
After they "fixed" the wiring issue I discovered what they had actually done (without my permission) was reduce my homes capacity from 200A to 125A. I had my heavy loads and light loads were separated by 2 100A panels being separately fed to be run by a generator during a power outage. But they reduced it down to a single 125A circuit combining my heavy and light loads and ran the new 125A circuit through a 100A manual transfer switch for my generator overloading the switch. The transfer switch was a code violation and the loads not being separated would have made the batteries not work correctly in the event of an outage.
When I contacted them the next morning after finding this out (the day before the county inspector was supposed to come) and notified them of the problems they waited all day to call me back until 4PM when I called them again. I told them I was just trying to let them know before the inspector got here what I had found because I didn't want to end up pointing it all out while they were here with the inspector. They accused me of attempting to sabotage the inspection. Like no I just want the work done right, what am I supposed to do stop the inspector from seeing the incorrectly done work? Only after the owner (Jeremy) threatening to come take the batteries off the side of my building or rip the wires out that they had ran and me telling him that he would do neither did they finally agree to postpone the inspection and came out and fixed the issues.

Now that the system has been turned on, it's not working correctly. I called two days after it had been turned on was told someone would log in and look at the system and call me back that day. I did not receive a call that day or the next day. I called back periodically and waited a week in total being told I would get called back and never did. I called them again today and they wanted tell me someone will call me back. I wasn't taking that for an answer so they proceeded to tell me that I could wait to be called, or they would block my phone # and hung up on me. After calling back a few more times and threatening to come down to the office where they couldn't hang up on me did they get me in touch with the person who was going to come out and look at it.

Then randomly after never having a negative review on my business for over 30 years literally right after fighting with them this morning & them telling me that I was the worst customer they have ever had, someone who I have never done business with or even heard of before left a nasty slanderous review on my business page that is in no way true and never happened. I am pretty much 100% sure this came from someone within this company & the review mysteriously disappeared after writing this.

I had the A team from Solar Savings Direct!! Jon, Conner and Dustin did a great job on retrofitting the wiring on my solar battery system. They completed the work efficiently and even called me an hour after they left to make sure everything was working correctly.

Solar Savings Direct has been an excellent choice for me. They have been very responsive during the design and permitting process, and have configured my 24 panel, two Tesla Powerwall 3, whole-house backup system just as I wanted it. Their installation teams arrived on time and worked amazingly well and quickly to get the whole system installed in two mornings during very hot weather. I am looking forward to becoming almost completely independent from PG&E. I recommend Solar Savings Direct without reservation.

The team at Solar Savings Direct were great to work with from start to finish. Edmund, my sales rep, explained all my options in clear terms, while never pressuring me in any one direction. And they were very price competitive! From the sale, the team kept me updated on each stage, while the installation team was always on time, proficient and courteous....and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I highly recommend them!
