Switching to solar power has always been a dream of mine. The idea of harnessing the sun's energy to power my home for free seemed perfect. After witnessing the incredible installation done for my next-door neighbor, I chose SolarEdge Power. I was able to observe their team's professionalism and attention to detail throughout the process. One of the team members, Axel, handed me a business card, and I later reached out to him. Axel was incredibly helpful and kind. I had a ton of questions, and he patiently answered each one in a detailed, polite manner. Axel even suggested several financial options for me to consider. Over the following months, I continued to ask Axel various questions to ensure I was making the right choice. With every interaction, I felt increasingly confident in my decision. Two days ago, my solar system was installed. Jonathan and Eddie, the installers, displayed the same level of professionalism and politeness that Axel had shown me. The installation looks fantastic, with 22 panels installed based on my energy consumption. Switching to solar power is a significant step for many, but I am entirely confident that I made the right choice. I'm doubly sure that choosing SolarEdge Power for my installation was the correct decision. My wife and I would like to express our gratitude to Axel, Jonathan, and Eddie for a wonderful experience.

Axel, the Project Coordinator for our solar installation team, has proven himself to be an exemplary part of our professional group. I've been a satisfied client since 2017, when they installed my rooftop solar array as part of a local solar co-op program. More recently, I required some roofing work and our team, under Axel's guidance, collaborated with the roofing contractor to uninstall and reinstall the solar array. In 2020, I took part in an upgrade program with another solar company. This contractor did not secure a permit for the work, assuring me it was a simple repair. This made me uncomfortable and I reached out to them multiple times about obtaining a permit and updating my system's electrical drawings. The owner of this company insisted it was just a repair and a permit was unnecessary. This situation continued from early 2020 until mid 2021. When I contacted my local permitting department and a representative from a solar advocacy group, it was apparent that the other company was in the wrong and a permit was indeed required. I then approached Axel to see if our team could revise the electrical diagram and document the work with a new permit. Despite the complexity, given that my home had three finalized permits for various solar components, our team agreed to assist. They successfully secured the permit which has now been finalized. The local authorities are satisfied that my electrical diagram accurately displays all components of my system and I have the reassurance that my home has been appropriately inspected. This task couldn't have been achieved without Axel's expertise and skill. I am deeply grateful to the team for all the services and support they've provided me over these years. Solar customers should understand the inherent value of collaborating with a reputable team like ours. The return on investment is substantial, particularly with our team providing expert and continuous support and monitoring. Your gratitude is greatly appreciated.

The whole process of solar panel installation was exceptional at every stage. From the initial conversations with Chris about designing a system to the engineering and installation teams, and even the post-install support with meter setup and the SREC program, everything went as planned and on schedule. Among the numerous solar companies available to choose from, this particular company's level of expertise and professionalism really shone through compared to others I had conversations with. One point of curiosity I have is that since my system was activated just as the peak solar season was winding down, I'll have to wait some months to see if the actual system generation aligns with the estimates provided during the design stage. I'll be sure to provide an update on this review with that information. One year after the system's installation, it continues to perform admirably. The solar system generated 91% of the estimated solar energy for my setup during its first year. Given the yearly variations in weather conditions like cloud coverage, it's unrealistic to expect 100% capacity every year. However, I believe that achieving 91% is quite commendable. Considering the cost savings on electricity and SRECs, I feel that the investment in a home solar system would have been justified even if it had reached 70-80% of the design capacity. A word of caution for those considering a solar system: it's best not to use a third-party energy supplier for your electricity. While local utilities handle net metering on the distribution part of your bill correctly, some third-party suppliers might not. This was a piece of advice in the company's manual, but it wasn't mentioned by Jonathan during the installation process. Recently, I encountered an issue with my third-party electricity supplier not correctly applying the kWh I had banked, which was a slight inconvenience to resolve. However, I managed to resolve it, and I will now be switching back to my local utility for both supply and distribution. Any minuscule savings you may get from a third-party supplier on the small amount you spend on electricity with a solar system are not worth the hassle. It's best to stick with your local utility for both supply and distribution.

panels were installed last year. my partner and i had been considering solar installation for some time, and after obtaining estimates, we found a company that offered the kind of panels we were looking for. we selected them for the job. we had some additional inquiries and axel was gracious enough to visit the site and respond to all our concerns. after the contract was signed and the installation date was established, all went silent. usually, firms would ring a few days ahead to verify their schedule and reassure us of their arrival time. however, we received a call early in the morning on the day of installation, just before 6am, notifying us they were en route. the crew was professional and finished the installation earlier than the estimated time they had given us. there was a slight delay in the PTO process when the inspector arrived, but the on-site representative, eddie, couldn't provide the necessary documents for the city inspector to approve the PTO. this resulted in an extra day of work, rescheduling, and an out-of-pocket expense of about $123 that wasn't covered in the contract. there were also complications where an incorrect email address was given to the solar monitoring company, enphase. while this was a minor issue, mistakes happen. i had to contact enphase to reset the email. overall, the solar installation company was respectful and professional. while there are minor areas they could improve to enhance the customer experience, the company offers reasonable pricing and their on-site team does an excellent job, from installation to assisting the owner in setting up and learning how to monitor their solar system.

the installation process was carried out professionally by solaredge power and the energy generation has been as per the promise for the initial year. however, there was a brief period when the solar output dropped to nil. i sought help from their website and after a remote diagnosis, they confirmed that a replacement for the inverter was needed. it was a bit disappointing to experience a power outage, but these things happen and that's what warranties are in place for. there was a minor delay initially in getting in touch with them, but since then, i've received calls from jonathan, the owner, assuring me that a new inverter is on the way and it usually takes about 2 to 3 weeks. hopefully, we'll be back to maximum energy production and fully charged powerwalls before the storm season. i'll update this review once the system is operational again. update: axel, their technician, came by in the morning and had the new inverter installed and working in a few hours. by evening, both powerwalls were fully charged. excellent job, team!

previously, i had made an erroneous decision by choosing another service provider before i found this solar installation company. a friend directed me towards them and i consider myself fortunate. our sales representative, chris, took the time to explain everything in detail. he laid out exactly what our requirements were, clarified how tax credits operate, detailed the equipment that would be set up, and much more. it seems many of the less positive reviews are fixated on the installation duration, which is largely dependent on county-based permits. this implies that the time frame can fluctuate depending on your county. throughout the waiting period, we were consistently updated on timelines, expectations, and so on. as a client, i have no grievances with the company, although the permit could have been approved a tad quicker by the authorities. however, this was not the company's fault. the installation process was swift and the installers, including axel and jonathan, showcased utmost professionalism. i would wholeheartedly recommend this solar installation company with a perfect 10/10 score.

You need to cancel the $90 fee to do a site transfer. Especially for customers that no longer have an installer due to bankruptcy!. Please this fee is too much!
