My mother was just at Solaris Bayonet Point and I honestly have nothing but positive feelings and great things to say about the facility and especially the staff. The facility itself was very clean and always very well run and organized. The staff were outstanding, extremely pleasant and professional and responsive and tremendous communication. She received physical therapy during her staying that was also equally well done. I felt very good about her being there the entire time and would highly recommend it.

Dad was there for rehab. Beware, rehab consists of laying in bed 23.5 hours a day. I pushed his call button. No one came. 30 minutes later I Went to nurses station and asked what happens when call button is pushed. They said they respond to the room. I asked the 3 of them why no one responded to my dads room. No answer.
Complained to director. Like talking to the wall. Nothing changed. Every day I went there my dad was laying in bed. Not a nice place and management should be ashamed. My dad needs to go back to rehab and this place was on list. I told his case manager that I would never have him go back there. So sad.

As an RN Case Manager, I have had the privilege of working with numerous healthcare facilities, but Solaris Healthcare Bayonet Point truly stands out. Their commitment to patient-centered care, professional collaboration, and seamless transitions is remarkable.

My mom had to stay at Solaris, our experience was Fantastic, ALL. The staff was kind and helpful. They make it very much a family friendly experience. The care they gave to my loved one was wonderful. They also do multiple activities for everyone to keep them active and busy. For it being a place where things will be very hard on your family members and you. They WILL put in that extra care, patience and love.

This is long overdue but grief will have you postpone things like this.

My father has been admitted to numerous rehabs and this was his best and last. He was admitted at 92 in very poor condition and to our surprise they were able to get him to sit at a table to eat, sit in a chair for the day to socialize, get him to walk a few steps here and there, and generally was better in all ways under their care. That exceeded our expectations. Ultimately it was his time to go though and one of his kids was able to be with him almost daily in this good environment.

Huge thanks to Angel, the tireless, smart, kind and hardworking director. I've seem other directors at rehabs that he was at and it matters that you have someone like her at the top. Even though she was crazy busy, she always made time for me.

Then there was sweet Wednesday, one of Dad's favorites. I really can't remember everyone as it was 6 months ago.

And a stand out moment was when the night shift guy, I think Jim(?), was able to give me 2 hours estimate to Dad's passing. This is such a precious gift. I was able to call my brother and both of us could hold his hand and be there for him.

There are so many people to thank there and I can't remember all their names but they all matter and were very kind and competent.

I highly recommend Solaris Healthcare and we were fortunate he was in such a lovely room for his final months.

Unfortunately I had a totally terrible experience with my father , who wound up there because the original rehab we wanted to get him into was Covid bound , at Solaris the rooms were dirty the air quality was overwhelmed with filters unchanged in many of there ptact wall units , and unaccountable staff, my dad had been dirty several times during visits with his fresh clothing being lost or misplaced even though they were all tagged, he had a foot infection and the best they could do was to change the bandage adding a date but no initial of the person who did the deed, and on top of that put the same blood infected sock Back on his foot and shoving his foot back in to a shoe .soiling his new sketcher sneaker as well as contaminating his custom inner soul, that was the bottom line on July 3. I made other arrangements and had him removed from that facility and reached out to the state and programs that watch rehabs and nursing homes. Please don’t allow this to happen to you or your loved one beware.This memory will linger on for me and my family now that he has passed.

We placed my father here when he fell in assisted living and broke his hip. He was here in rehab for a little over a month. The PT/OT staff was amazing. I live out of state and the difference between seeing him day 1 and then at the end of his stay was remarkable. His Dr. kept me in the loop from afar and addressed all my concerns. The nursing staff was compassionate and empathetic.
