The solar installer we chose offered a much more competitive pricing compared to other providers, and they used top-tier equipment such as LG panels and Enphase microinverters. The company was completely honest about the financial options that could save us the most money. They made sure all the necessary paperwork and approvals were processed on time, just as predicted. The installation process was swift, meticulous, and well-coordinated, with great attention to detail like matching the paint on conduits. The company's owner, let's call him Kai, was always ready to assist us in reconnecting to Enphase. When Kai offered a generous bonus to one of our relatives, he surprised us with an equivalent discount! We had our system installed a few years ago and have yet to receive a True-Up bill. We are pleased that our system was precisely calibrated to meet our needs and is expected to degrade less than other systems installed around the same time. excellent experience. We moved into our new house about a year ago and knew right away that we wanted to harness solar power (translation: it's really hot here, ugh!). We sat through 7-8 sales presentations on solar power. Different companies, including the pushy one through a popular wholesale club that offers a big discount on their club card. We chose to go with a company for our solar needs and couldn't be happier. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive, but after countless hours of research, we knew we needed a company that would be responsive if we ever had any problems (please check out the customer service reviews for some of the bigger companies before deciding to use them). Lucas, the boss, was responsive, patient, and explained everything in detail. He was not pushy, in fact, he recommended we NOT get a battery (at least for now) which he could have made more money on, but didn't think it was the right move for us at the time. I've since referred a number of friends/neighbors to him and we're all very happy. He uses the best/most aesthetically pleasing panels (none of those ugly white grid lines) and the installation crew, led by kai and clarence, was top-notch. Our solar is now up and running and even after running the air conditioning all summer long (hey, we're used to cooler weather), our energy bills were only $20/month!

It was a few years back when our solar system was activated. We were quickly won over by Lucas's presentation: he detailed what he thought our solar needs were, addressed all our queries and worries thoroughly and with exceptional patience. We were drawn to the fact that this company had a deep-rooted history in the electrical business and didn't outsource their work, unlike many others. As veterans of several economic cycles, we predicted that many of today's solar installers might not survive past the next few years. But the company Lucas represented has been in the business for quite some time and seems likely to stick around for much longer. As a techie, I found all the technical details enthralling. The SolarEdge system that was suggested offers the benefits of both string and microinverter systems, at a fair price. It involves the use of smart power optimizers on the roof to perform the MPPT work, which are incredibly efficient. These optimizers supply DC power to a string inverter, keeping the more fragile components in a more protected environment. SolarEdge seems to be a well-managed and well-funded business that will likely be around for many years. We opted for a 7.32 kW system with 24 LG305 panels, SolarEdge power optimizers, and an SE7600 inverter, which is sufficient to cover our pool and air conditioning needs. We were provided with panel-level monitoring, so we can brag about our solar power generation over lunch. The installation went hand in hand with our roofing work (also performed by a top-notch company), and the entire project, both roof and solar, was completed in just over a week. Everything went swimmingly! Because our breaker box was filled to capacity, an additional electrical sub-panel was installed at no extra charge. The whole job was done swiftly and cleanly, with no complications or mess. They took the time to explain every part of the system and how to operate it. The finished product looked fantastic, and of course, it passed inspection. Within two weeks from the start of the project, we were approved and generating power, and less than six weeks after signing the contract, we were able to convert the summer sun into savings, and secure our net metering. It's been a few years since our solar system was installed and it's still running flawlessly. Our electric bills have dropped to virtually nothing! I can't express how seamlessly everything went! We're typically a bit wary about home projects, but this one exceeded our expectations! This solar installer is a top-notch company and I would recommend them to anyone!
