We shopped around for solar heating for our first pool. Our overall pool project was already overwhelming in price and surprises. Solar tech offered competitive prices and great warranties for years to come. They made us feel like we were family.

Not knowing, we ended up with an awesome company. From the salesman who treated us with respect and patience to a professional and meticulous installer. We are very impressed with the product install and service. We would recommend solar tech to everyone looking for heating.

Once we had our system installed, it’s been nothing but trouble. The lack of communication, responsibility, and honesty is a big problem. Our Solar System wasn’t working properly after we ran some tests and notified Solar Tech. We noticed an issue by going “off grid” for a couple days, though the system never really went off grid. Come to find out, this is an ongoing issue for the Tesla battery owners since a “part is missing”. Apparently, Solar Tech knew about the issue and decided to wait and see if we noticed. Bad business. This is also currently happening to multiple customers. Furthermore, a tech had come out on multiple occasions and tried to use a workaround, which didn’t make things better, rather it has made it worse. No our system is complete off. Good job ?

There is no way I would give a good review at this point. Emails ignored. We have been very nice and have tried to be understanding, but that only lasts for so long. I’m a professional and it’s tough to understand how not going above and beyond to respond to us timely, or even at all, and try to resolve an issue, is how Solar Tech has decided to conduct business. Good luck with the rebate promised as well. No answers.

My experience with SolarTech has been outstanding. From my first interaction with the sales representative that came to my home to the finished installation, each interaction has been stellar. My wife and I just purchased our home and we have had several contractors in and out, none however, were as professional and efficient as the SolarTech installers. They were polite and courteous and had no issues stopping what they were doing to explain how everything works to me or my wife. More importantly, they treated my home as if it was their own. If you're considering getting solar I highly encourage you to set up a consultation with SolarTech. I met with several solar companies and none of whom could compete with their prices or level of professionalism.

I had an installation by a different installer who did not completely finished the job and had some miswiring. Sunpower would not help with the job and the installer was completely out of touch. Sunpower recommended solar tech as a master installer. I called yesterday morning about completing the job and within one day they were on site finishing up the installation.

If I had known about them last year before installation I would have picked them.

Dan and Daniel were both great repair technicians.

I highly recommend their company.

Adam Sanders was early, friendly and very willing to teach as well. Most importantly he was knowledgeable, efficient and persistent, insuring entire system was working properly. He offered several solutions, listing pros and cons for each. I’ll be calling Solar Tech again if I ever have another problem w my solar.

SolarTech did an excellent job of cleaning my solar panels and I will continue with them for annual service. Not only did they clean the panels, test the power but they reported on the condition of the tiles on my roof. They also showed me before and after photos. I highly recommend them as the best choice for all solar needs.

This company calls me every day on my cell at least 5 times a day and calls my husband on his cell at least 5 times a day . I finally blocked the call and then started to get a call from them from another number when I called the company to explain what is happening and ask them to please take me off their list and stop making the calls . The rep stated they don't make these types of calls and hung up on me. There is only one solar tech company in San Diego. This was not a true statement very disappointed...
