Following a water leak that left much damage to our home we were first faced with a company that was suggested through our insurance company. That company left us with so much damage that was never addressed or remediated appropriately but the company "cleared" us. Upon further demo of the damage so many more problems were encountered and uncovered. Thankfully South Florida Mold Assessment was recommended and followed the large scale company to resolve the problems. Shane made very thorough and diligent efforts to address the problem completely and aggressively. We felt like Shane treated our home as if it were his own. He was friendly, professional and so very helpful and informative. Please don't waste your time and money on the big companies where you get lost in the shuffle. Shane will be sure you are returned to a safe environment with the utmost professionalism. Wish we would have found him the first time.

An extremely smooth and stress-free experience for a stressful situation, as I was highly concerned about the air quality in my house. Shane Ambeau was attentive, knowledgeable, on-time and professional! He listened to my family's concerns regarding our air quality, took our situation into consideration (with allergies and the like) and offered suggestions to best help determine if we had issues with the air quality in our household.

The experience couldn't have been any easier from a consumer perspective. He was easy to communicate with and spoke to me in a way where I could better understand what air testing language, as I'm by no means a professional. He thoroughly explained things from start to finish.

Shane tested the air in my house in multiple rooms as well as around the exterior of the house. The process was efficient and didn't take much time to complete. Once the air was tested, Shane explained the process on how he takes the air samples to the lab and the time it would take to receive the results. After receiving the lab results, Shane sent me a thorough write-up on the results of the air test. From there I had a few questions and Shane picked up his phone on the first call and spent extra time to further detail what was written in the report.

My family and I are appreciative for Shane and the time and effort he put into make sure the air quality in my house was safe. I would recommend Shane Ambeau / South Florida Mold Assessment to anyone who needs to test their air quality or might they they have an air issue!

Shane is extremely professional and even more knowledgeable! He is punctual, thorough, organized, attentive, observant, helpful, patient and all around the best! He will explain anything and everything to you. I have dealt with multiple Mold Assessment Companies over the past year and he blew all of them out of the water! I contacted Shane about a situation I encountered with water damaged floors. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable! I was blown away by his keen eye and attention to details I had completely missed! He pointed out signs of more water I had overlooked, that’s when I knew I had the right man for any job requiring the attention of a mold or water damage inspection. This is so important as you don’t want any sources or signs of moisture to be overlooked in a situation such as this! I’d definitely use him should I ever require the assistance of a mold or water damage inspector. Super nice guy, honest, knowledgeable and professional!

Shane Ambeau saved the day! We had a small leak hidden behind the AC unit. His expertise and knowledge led him to discovering that the issue was small, and easily fixable, and not a disaster as someone else had previously suggested. I would totally use he and his team again if I ever had a potential mold problem.

I would not use this company. Called them for nearly a month and left repeated messages and no one ever returned my call. Voice mail repeatedly says "Thank you for calling South Florida Mold Assessment you've reached Shane I"m unable to take your call and will get back to you as soon as possible. Well the soon as possible meant never; I never received a callback after they came out to my home to do a mold assessment and they were to submit a protocol to my insurance company. I am skeptical as to the make up of this company as it appears to have only one employee.
