We have been with them for many years and recently I had to pay late but they gave me a date to pay by to keep it on. So I paid before 8 am on that day and they then asked for an additional $150 to get it turned on. So between that and the service disconnecting randomly every week.

Now we have CTI. Super fast so far after a few weeks. A lot better speed for a lot less $$$

Unreal that our bill is over $100 per month just for the internet to "have spikes of low internet". The internet goes down multiple times a day. The only solution Customer Service has "have you tried resetting?" or "well it looks good on my end". Was also told direclty from Customer Service "if you don't reset your router we never know you have issues" Had someone come out and service and it did absolutely nothing. Have also inquired about a new router and we were told "your name router is new and up to date". We got the router back in 2017.

UPDATE: imagine that!!! 3 days in a row of spotty internet while paying over $100 per month. Talked to multiple agents and no-one can ever seem to resolve the issue. I'm thinking the best option is to just drop you as a company

God I can't wait till AT&T fiber is finished being installed on my street. Your service is garbage!!

If you can get other internet! Do that! A freaking hamster wheel would be better than this.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE AND PREDATORY CANCELLATION PROCESS
I don't normally write bad reviews but in this case I need to. Long story short, I was presented with NO OTHER OPTION besides driving to a Sparklight office FOUR HOURS away when trying to cancel, and if I hadn't done my own research I would have been stuck doing that. This is a slimy business tactic and a veiled attempt at squeezing just a little more money out of subscribers to make it prohibitive to cancel. Also a lack of initiative on the part of the rude and disrespectful customer service rep on the phone for presenting that as my only cancellation option, and simply threatening to damage my credit score instead of trying to help find a more equitable solution.

I was a Sparklight customer since 2018 and due to a move to an area that Sparklight doesn't service I had to cancel. When I called to cancel I was informed I would have to cancel in person by returning my modem at the "local" office... FOUR HOURS away. I asked if it was possible to mail my modem or if there was an office closer to me and the representative I was speaking to became extremely rude and unprofessional, telling me the office 4 hours away was my only option and there are no offices closer to me and if I didn't want to continue to pay for Sparklight services (I was no longer living in the house and the modem was long disconnected), then I'd either have to make the drive or let it "go on my credit report" in her words. At that point I asked for a manager to call me, which they (shockingly) never did. I did my own research and found a Sparklight office that was closer, still over an hour away, and called the customer service line again and asked if I could return my modem at the closer office. They said they'd "make an exception" since that's not my "local office", which makes zero sense that my "local office" is 4 hours away, which I did return the modem to the closer office. But, an EXCEPTION? To return the modem for more than half as much time and gas money, on a workday where I am losing money because Sparklight offices are only open 8-5 and I'm having to take off work to make the drive? Absolutely ludicrous. Every other service provider I've ever used that provides equipment ALWAYS sends a return label for it to be shipped back. I've never ever experienced anything that was so blatantly wrong with any other company before this. I encourage anyone who has read this far to consider a different internet provider. Speeds were fine but I had frequent, almost daily, outages where the internet was unusable and they couldn't (or wouldn't) do anything about it, and this enormous hassle of cancelling was the final nail in the coffin.

Your "account lookup tool" sucks and does not work. I was with Fidelity Co. until this outfit apparently bought them out. Now I cannot access my account, find out how to access or create an account, or speak to anyone on the phone. The process to do this yourself is impossible because your crappy software does not work or allow you to figure it out. I guess there are only 2 or three people working in your "call center" because I can never get through. The email I received said there was online chat, yet there is no online chat. This seems like a complete clusterf*** of an operation and I wish Fidelity had not sold us out.

Technician Alex did a fine installation. He showed up on time, called ahead, was super knowledgeable and personable. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have a networked printer that wouldn't connect to the Sparklight modem, but that's my problem. It has been an altogether excellent experience.

Probably one of the worst service providers ive had in a long time, have tried calling multiple times because the modem i was provided wasnt working properly and kept going out every few hours. After making 5 different calls and setting up appointments to have it looked at a technician has only come out once, looked at the connection outside of the house and didnt replace the modem that was giving me the problem. So i called again and set up another appointment, and they cancelled the appointment on me. With the same messed up modem

(Edit) this part is after i had already posted this , and after the sparklight comment on this review. Still nothing has been done, no progress has been made, was told i would not be able to get a new modem unless i upgrade. This is A1 service lmfao
