I was on the 3rd floor rehab after surgery and the nurses on that floor are exceptional. The therapy people are just as wonderful. I am so thankful for the care that they gave me. I had the best hospital stay ever because of these people (and I've been in hospitals more then once).

I have been having multiple tests, scans and a chemo port done here. Everyone has been so helpful, friendly and caring. All of my appointments were done on time with very little down time. I am very happy with the treatment I have been getting here.

The nurses and staff were great. I would never suggest Dr. Haseeb (heart) to anybody. Avoid going to mtvernon and dealing with the extra pain of unnecessary surgeries. It worth making the extra drive and taking the time to get better recommendations. He lacks communication, is late consistently and is questioned throughout the hospital. This is from personal experience.

Had surgery on my broken nose! I felt very rushed after waiting out in lobby for 2 hours. But they did come out to apologize and I was the last patient for the day. The only real thing that concerned me was when I was taken to O.R. There was no compassion and not one person said one word to me. A black man came over and jerked my head back extremely hard and did it in passing. Was kind of odd to me. I even said out loud, that was a bit aggressive. When I woke up I couldn’t breathe and my chest was hurting so extremely bad. They had to get a They had to give me 3 breathing treatments.
Every bone in my body hurt including my legs, neck and back. What did they do throw me around while I was under. But I will say Dr. Lesko Is amazing sweet and he really cares about this patients.

I want to say thank you to the entire ICU Cardiac unit while I was at SSM HEALTH hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois November of 2024. Everyone was very attentive and kind.
Caleb was a nurse that attended to me while I was in my outpatient recovery room. Caleb had amazing bed side manners. Thank you for being attentive and kind.

Terrible! I was in pain in my right knee!
I drank liquor to try and subside it!!!
It didn't work , and you know my drinking history, but I was treated as a addict! I'm. Not an addict! I'm try to control my drinking! I don't drink for weeks at a time ! I binge for 1 or 2 days and the guilt and shame makes my fear go up! I actually get scared, then I have to go to the hospital for help!
Please try to understand ! I k ow you're not a rehab establishment, but when I get scared and fear of harming myself or have a seizure!!

When I have been in the emergency room or as a patient in the hospital, which in the last year I’ve had about three experiences, I guess you would say with my hospital stays being eight days each. I have had a lot of contact with the hospital. What I want to say is when I was in the emergency room I felt like I was in Portland to the nurses and to the doctor that took care of me. There was appeared to be concerned and help to find out what my condition was what they could do to help me and to do what they were able to do. Then, when I was admitted to the hospital, the nurses and doctors were all very concerned and good, and I had no one that I would have a complaint about, and that means all the way to the housekeeper through the doctors that took care of me through the oaccommodations of the facility, which I feel like Is very fortunate to have this hospital here and I feel the same way thank you all

I would highly recommend Good Samaritan personnel for the excellent care given during my recent visit for a total hip replacement. From admissions, anesthesiology, surgical and nursing staff all were totally professional. They continually kept me comfortable and cared for during my brief stay. Dr. Houle and the overnight nursing staff were simply amazing. Thanks again for everything!
