I had solar installed in 2020, and last month my inverter went out which caused my system to stop working. Their website and Twitter say they "are committed to making sure your system performs as promised" and "customers are being taken care of" as recently as 2/24/24, but my form submissions and 3x followups have gone unanswered since 3/1/24.

UPDATE 11/27/24: Still no contact from Sullivan, since 3/1/24. They are actively tweeting that they're still in business - but have comments turned off and are not responding to calls or website form submissions.

I'm writing this review so other people in the same situation don't delay reaching out to a competitor for maintenance, since Sullivan isn't answering their online form submissions. I will update it if I hear back from them.

Had a great experience with them (and recommended their company) when they installed my system, stinks they went out of business. Would have given 5 stars based on my 2020 installation experience, only 2 stars because of misleading statements on their website and Twitter accounts in 2024.

The Sullivan Solar Power team is really on top of it. Each step of the way I felt like my questions and needs were taken care of. Everyone was quick to respond leading up to the day of installation. The installation took place in just 1 day! All the service guys were friendly and kept me updated with their progress.

After the installation the Sullivan team kept me informed with how the panels work and how to interpret the readings. Overall highly recommend for any homeowner that’s looking to upgrade their home.

Our family had been considering installing solar panels on our home for years. We had researched both the technology and the various companies offering to install our new system. We visited websites, read reviews, and talked to a number of friends that had already had systems installed at their homes. Sullivan Solar was with us every step of the way! Even though we had already done extensive research into residential solar, Sullivan Solar made a point of doing a thorough analysis of our electrical needs and explaining how much solar was the right amount of solar for our family. They considered how much power our family used, how much a new system could produce, and what we could expect to in terms of lowering our electrical bills.

Everyone member of the Sullivan Solar staff was extremely polite and professional. They coordinated every step of the process, and there was always someone available to answer questions and let us know what was going to happen next. The customer service was excellent!

I would strongly recommend Sullivan Solar to anyone looking to install residential solar!

UPDATE- these kooks went out of business abruptly without notifying any of their customers because Sullivan stalked his girlfriend. They cost me $3k to have some recalled LG batteries replaced. I feel worse for the people who were mid-installation and had paid for equipment they couldn’t access or get install. They are screwed.

OLD RECIEW- I strongly recommend Sullivan Solar. I looked at 6 different companies and Sullivan was the best in price, incentives, and customer service. Josh Daguman came and did the assessment and he was so thorough. James McKnight was the project manager- he was very good at communicating and oversaw the project on time. I had to do absolutely nothing once I signed my contract. So easy. Now I have this cool app to monitor my panels and it couldn’t be easier.

Sullivan Solar Power was the 3rd company that I requested a quote from to put solar panels on my condo. From my initial phone call to the post installation orientation , each member of their time was professional, honest, and willing to answer any question. Tyler Boden, the sales representative supported our project every step of the way. James McKnight, the project manager, was also amazing to work with. Sullivan Solar Power, Irvine installed a 14 panel system on our home in Naples, CA in June 2018. The entire process was thoroughly and professionally explained and planned from start to finish by Tyler Boden. The installation crew under the direction of Eli was very personable, efficient and knowledgeable. The panels are not visible from the street and are strategically place for optimum solar production. The Long Beach City inspection was conducted two days later with the full supervision of the Sullivan Solar team. We are very happy and pleased with our new solar system and are already reaping the benefits of Father Sun! We highly recommend Sullivan Solar Power for your solar needs.
