I’m fortunate to be a customer of Suncoast Power Solutions for years!
Our previous provider of generator sales, support and repairs overall failed us.
Brian Henriquez, owner of Suncoast Power Solutions came to our rescue and has been a beacon of hope ever since thanks to their superior service and maintenance. It has given us the confidence that if we lose power our generator will function.
Recently, after losing electricity for six days after a hurricane, and running out of propane, our propane provider, a large national company could not be reached and when reached they stated it would be a over a week before delivery.
Suncoast saved the day and had the generator operating and our home electricity functioning.
I strongly endorse Suncoast Power Solutions for your alternative energy, electrics services , and solar storage solutions.
I have full confidence that you will be a satisfied customer just like me.

I called to have my generator serviced. They came and said I needed a part which cost approx $500. I paid it, they went to install it and then claimed that they couldn't get it working because there were rats. Pets control was sent and found no evidence of rats. They sent technician back out who now says the odor from dead rats impeded him to work on the unit. Then the manager emails me and says the system is too old and I should have it replaced. This just doesn't add up and when I questioned it I received an aggressive answer from the owners wife. I will not be using them to service or replace my generator.

They charged us almost $500 to service our generator in August. In October, 2 days into Hurricane Milton and using our generator sparingly (less than 5 hours in 48 hours) we got an error message that our battery died. We did some googling and realized the battery that this company installed was 450 amp, and we really needed at least 800 amp. Was able to get the battery replaced on our own and solved the problem ourselves with other vendors. Called suncoast to make them aware of the error and the owner could not care less, told us 450 was “close enough” to what we needed, despite multiple other vendors telling us it was not. Owner was not apologetic and extremely rude. Absolute worst customer service received in a long time.

Amazing team at Suncoast Power Solutions! From the initial quote to closing out the finished install everyone I worked with along the way treated me with great respect and appreciation for being a customer. They each answered every question, and ensured I was informed along the entire process. True professional team! Thank you!

A big shout out to the excellent service from Sun Coast Power solutions. I’ve been a customer for about five years and they always are terrific. My battery died on my generator and I didn’t realize that until hurricane Milton knocked my power out. Florida Suncoast came by my house and saw that the battery was dead. Unfortunately they didn’t have any batteries on the truck because they were wiped out from hurricane Helene. But much to my surprise the next day, my Generator was working. I texted Brian, snd said my generator is working he said yeah I was able to find one and I put it in for you. So not only did he come once, but he came twice, even though there’s hardly any gasoline to be had in Tampa Bay! That was going above and beyond. Thank you Suncoast!

Part 2 - After receiving a quote and agreeing to the cost, I tried multiple times to reach the sales rep to answer a few questions.
I left voice mails and emails but he never returned my call.
When I call Suncoast Power Solutions their answer was the were just very busy. I'm paying cash.

It's now been several months and I have given up. My only thought was I was misquoted and the company didn't want to comply with the price given.

I may try again next hurricane season, but not with this company.

Previous review was:
Very impressed so far. I knew there had to be a better way to get a generator. So far everything appears to be upfront and honest, Exactly the kind of company I wanna work with

Brian (the owner) is one of the most responsive and informed professionals you can work with if you're considering a stand-by home generator. He was honest about everything from the start and did everything he possibly could to get me the right generator at a fair cost. This is the company to call. High integrity.

**update to response: refund issued 2 months later, well after this review.

Additionally, the permit had to be filed as a new permit because your department did not file the correct type of permit.

Our concern was not the time to obtain permit or reading fine print, it was the lack of communication and work put towards our file & the excuses and delays each week when I followed up.

Your Google review response was more timely than anything we received from you staff.

_____
Chose Suncoast as they were the authorized Costco Generac rep and we have always been pleased with anything Costco.

Suncoast provided poor communication, delays and excuses. Even had to follow up initially to see when they were going to take deposit and start processing the order. Constant delays and excuses. Originally told when we signed the contract it would be a July install. After reaching out to Management/Owner expressing our concerns over lack of communication, progress and delays (excuses really) one month later, we were told by management it would now be a September/October install & they offered a refund. Basically felt like we were being fired as a customer or being put off again. At this point when management/owner refused to call us on the phone & work towards a solution we turned it over to Costco’s Special Order Department since this was their vendor. We are still waiting for our refund a month later.

Especially disappointed that original sales rep never once intervened or followed up on our behalf. Put in for a change of contractor at the county and had the permit in our hand and a generator installed, passing inspections within two weeks (July 10th) now we are confident and ready for hurricane season.
