This individual had been using his solar setup for around 8 months without any hiccups, and he was extremely satisfied with the services he received from Clayton. In fact, he fully endorsed this company to anyone interested in going solar. In the past, I've consulted with various solar companies, and often found their prices excessive, or their ability to answer straightforward technical questions lacking. Alternatively, I encountered companies that tried to convince me to lease their solar panels, a deal that would leave me without ownership even after all payments were completed. As someone who holds a degree in electrical engineering, I found Clayton to be well-versed in answering my technical queries with great accuracy. He has a strong background in engineering, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the design and installation of solar systems. What I found commendable was Clayton's initiative to create a layout of my prospective solar panel system on my rooftop using satellite imagery during his home visit. He also immediately suggested purchasing over leasing and offered a solar loan with a very manageable monthly payment, which was half of what I was paying my previous electricity provider. Moreover, Clayton set up my solar loan through a trustworthy credit union, which provided an interest rate lower than what a home equity loan would have cost me. Unlike other solar companies that push for home equity loans or property tax loans that attach a lien to the property, this loan is personal and doesn't create any lien on my home. Clayton also allowed me to choose between different brands of solar panels and inverters to assemble the most suitable solar system for my home. I chose Q-Cell solar panels, known for their German engineering and industry awards, coupled with a SolarEdge inverter, known for its reliability. Be cautious, as many solar companies may not disclose the exact model or manufacturer of your solar panels, which likely means they are providing you with third-tier solar panels. Always insist on top-tier PLUS-rated panels, like Q-Cell, which are tested for high efficiency and are capable of capturing sunlight even on cloudy days. With the large solar system that Clayton installed for me, I was able to achieve near-top efficiency even on overcast days. To give you an idea of the system's efficiency, the typical household uses about 25 kWh per day. My system, however, generates around 80 kWh per day consistently. If I were to use 80 kWh from my previous electricity provider, my bill would easily have been around $650-$700 per month. Now, my solar payment is less than a third of that. The excess energy I generate is automatically fed back to my previous provider, who gives me a rebate for the surplus electricity. Houses with installed solar panel systems are seen as electrical generator facilities. You can even sign an agreement to sell electricity back to the provider and earn money from the surplus energy produced by your panels. My solar system has proven to be extremely reliable, producing more than what was agreed upon in my contract. Ultimately, I paid a third less for my solar system than most of my neighbors in Boca Raton. When they found out how much I paid, they were astounded, wishing they had chosen Clayton's company to save money and get a superior solar system.
