I am a user. The solar power generation is satisfying, except for the need to endure more than three power trips a week.
Since installing solar energy, the proportion of power outages has changed from 0 to 100% (in weeks). There will definitely be power outages every week...sometimes once every few days and sometimes several times a day. 100% of the time the power outages occur between 7 and 7 p.m. 8 o'clock. I contacted the service team, but they didn't think it was their problem. I had no other way but to remind everyone of this risk and attach the last three power outage records.

I highly recommend Sunny Energy. They are very professional and patient, from the estimate, through the planning permissions, installations, testing etc. I am more technically oriented than most and they spent time with me on the specs etc. In addition, I incorporated one of the first Span curcuit panels in Arizona with the SolarEdge panels, inverters and batteries. This led to some interfacing problems and they worked with Span and Solaredge to work them out. I am very happy with the system now it is up and running. They also installed a charger for my Tesla.

There are many Solar Companies in Arizona. Installing solar is not like installing AC or heating as it is still state of the art, so you need a company that is technically competent that you can reply on.

My installation was in Sedona and although the company is based in the Phoenix area, there was no problem in them coming out whenever necessary.

Finally I would point out, that even after things are up and working, the relationship continues with help in programming battery charging modes etc.

One of the SolarEdge batteries failed after a few months and Sunny Edge oversaw the warranty replacement at no cost to me.

Sunny Edge encouraged me to be a cover around the batteries to shade from direct sun which I did and is shown in the pic.

A really terrific company!

Sunny Energy has proven to be a company lacking honesty and integrity. Our experience with them involved misleading information about pricing, seemingly driven by their own financial motives. Their choice of financing company has also left much to be desired. It is imperative not to place blind trust in the statements made by any sales representatives affiliated with this company, especially concerning payment terms and interest rates. It is wise to request explicit details about daily interest rates, a critical piece of information that they conveniently overlook, leading to unexpected additional charges.

Trust is the cornerstone of any successful business relationship, and unfortunately, Sunny Energy has failed significantly in cultivating that trust with its customers. It is also suggested to exercise caution with other entities such as "Veteran Solar" and "Dividend," as our experiences have revealed marketing tactics that may not align with the reality of the services provided.

It is important to be mindful of sales tactics that prioritize closing deals over the best interests of the customer. Detailed discussions about the financing terms, including any undisclosed daily interest charges, are essential to making informed decisions. Our own unfortunate experience has resulted in significant financial strain due to the hidden aspects of the agreements and the accumulating debt. Caution and thorough research are paramount when engaging with companies like these to avoid finding oneself in a precarious financial situation.

One of my two installed inverters hasn’t been producing power for over 2 months. Nobody seems to want to call me back. Their main line gives a busy tone. Their Field Service line goes to vmail. And nobody is responding to my tickets. Define going to BBB. I wouldn’t recommend working with Sunny Energy.

Go ahead and try to call the line. Doesn’t work: (480) 257-3283
(480) 864-2483
So frustrating paying APS and for a bunch of useless panels during the middle of the hottest months of the year!!!!

8/20/24 UPDATE: I was told by their team they are filing for Bankruptcy. Do not do business with them.

UPDATE: Sunny Energy called me back today (8/14/2024) and said they are NOT performing ANY warranty work on solar installations.

They recommended calling Tigo to find another installer to complete the repair. Naturally, Tigo says it’s Sunny Energy’s responsibility.

We will be filing a formal complaint through the Arizona ROC, AG office and BBB.

I strongly discourage using either company. They are useless after install.

Buyer beware!

We purchased our Tigo system through Sunny Energy several months ago. A power outage roughly two months (June 2024) ago fried the comm board inside our inverter. I left voicemails with their answering service beginning 8/2/2024, their front desk and on their office voice mail. I have sent several emails, as has Tigo as well. They have not responded to a single touch point I’ve made in two weeks.

When instructed to open the panel to aide Tigo (to troubleshoot. They answered my call) I could smell an electrical burn smell.

We invested 67k into our system that is supposed to be warrantied for 15(ish) years, yet after only a few months, we experienced a failure and cannot get a response.

I have been a customer for three years, but unfortunately, the lack of communication from the company has been incredibly disappointing. Despite multiple attempts through front desk messages, voicemails and emails, I have not been able to reach anyone for a warranty system review or to address the recent skyrocketing of my bills. It's frustrating to not receive the support and information I need to ensure my system is performing as promised. They are now stating they are following new endeavors and will not honor their service contracts. They con’d people into buying strictly for financial gain. I regret recommending this company to my family and friends who also bought service and are facing the same problems.

Just like so many companies and contractors, as soon as they are paid, it is very hard to get them to come back. One week ago on Wednesday, our solar + battery system apparently disconnected from the grid. We started calling shortly after noon that day leaving messages with the answering service. We tried a half a dozen time to call as well as email but it wasn't until Friday before someone happened to answer when the answering service transferred me. No one ever called us which is very frustrating! I had to go out to the inverter to tell them which LED lights were lit and then they told me that the person that schedules the site visits was out until the following week but they were making my case a high priority. Monday by mid-afternoon, no one called so I called again and then someone called me back only to tell me that no one could come up for two weeks. We here we are with a very large and expensive system during very hot AZ summer days thinking our system would help us not have an electric bill AND should be able to let us have some solar and battery usage "off grid" but apparently that isn't the case. The person I spoke to said he'd try to get us a tech visit sooner but as with all other prior contact, no one has contacted us.

I have an issue with my solar system sunny energy installed and they are not responding to any calls or emails. The system is still under warranty and system is without any production since 45 days. Stay away from these company to save your hassle, time and money.
